Also In Aminas letter what was the secret code I lsitened to it on audio so I only heard someone read it! I love the equality and how many different characters are put into the story especially with georges excellence and daisys brains logic and she like brain washes someone into getting them to talk. If you want to read the book through with a friend and discuss it offline, that’s fine, but don’t do it here, because you’ll end up seeing spoilers for bits you haven’t got to yet!

She attempted to so daisy had to pretend to go limp as heppy was drowining her but when she went up for air she whacked her head on a branch. I didn’t read this spoiler post until today, after I had read the Book, as I wanted to rEad ‘Death Sets Sail’ without knowing what happened! Now all I am interested in is maybe Alexander and Hazel get together and I hope after daisy told hazel she would tell george and alexander.

If you are still wondering how to get free PDF EPUB of book The Case of the Drowned Pearl: A Murder Most Unladylike Mini-Mystery: World Book Day 2020 by Robin Stevens. At the end I was a bit confused, because it said Hazel had a really vivid dream when Aunt Lucy came to collect her and took her to the library, so did Daisy really come back to life, or was it just a dream. She

Are you going to tell us about all of them in once upon a crime, or the ministry of unladylike activity? I had forced my brother to read the series and at the start of every book he says that ‘Daisy died and Hazel did it’ and he was half right (until the end is revealed)! I, the Honourable Daisy Wells, have decided to give an account of another mystery the Detective Society has faced in recent weeks. The Hound of Weston School sees the Junior Pinkertons lead the detecting, and May Wong steps up and shows her ambition to be the greatest spy ever when war breaks out in The Case of the Deadly Flat.

I don’t know whether anyone else noticed but on page 343 the paragraph beginning with Mr Mansour their is a word I think meant to be allow but it just says. So every now and again, I would run the thoughts through my head and just think of the possibilities, I really think that this plot was the most clever and intriguing of all 9 murder cases, it took me so long to work it out, even when I was so determined, I finally summed up the evidence and realised that Heppy was pretending to sleepwalk!bruv alexander just wanted to speak the entire book and hazel didn’t let him speak not once not even at the end she just kissed him before he could say anything LMAO jgsfgakjhsds ? I told my friend that the book was brilliant and after simply saying I didn’t want to spoil it they have concluded that daisy does not really die. I also really like Lavina and George together especially as she said that she liked the look of him in Top Marks for murder.

years later, Hazel and Alexander are teaching her children to be detectives like her, before they go to Deepdean. Although a short story I enjoyed this more than the first book I read in this series (The Case of the Missing Treasure). but in a POV that just stands out so much and I was eagerly looking forward to each Hazel POV as I just love how sweet and kind Hazel is. It may be the holidays, but the Detective Society is never far away from a mystery - and soon they are mixed up in a truly terrible crime. I loved that we got to see Rose wanting to be heroic to save her little sister at that point too, because I really liked her in ASOM, and she really does care, even though she isn’t a detective like the others.

She spent her teenage years at Cheltenham Ladies' College, reading a lot of murder mysteries and hoping that she'd get the chance to do some detecting herself (she didn't). A very lovely short story just before the last ever (sobbing right now) book in the series comes out. I will be interested to revisit this forum once my daughter and I have received and read the book, to see if there is a trend of contributors succumbing to the temptation before they have read the book. For a book which includes them, they don’t actually do anything apart from Alexander having a “genius” revelation towards the end. I would recommend this book for children who are 9 and over as it’s a very delightful and exciting book to read!
