About this deal

The Elephant Strength bottle takes inspiration from its naval origins with navy blue accents and an inviting map of the ocean, conjuring far-flung exploration and the spirit of adventure at the heart of the brand. Lion's Tail (not literally), Devil's Claw (not literally), Baobab, and African Wormwood are the African rarities in this gin. The style gets its name from gin’s use by the Royal Navy in the 19th century, when sailors would test the strength of their spirits by attempting to light gunpowder.

The gin's nose yields a subtle juniper aroma with an undertone of mountain pine and other herbaceous notes. These cookies allow us to create statistical analyses to determine which articles are the most popular. To create a lightly sweet, delicate and floral gin and tonic, why not use a slice of apple as a garnish? When neat, the nose is generous and complex, with pine, herbaceous notes, earthy spice, fruity citrus and hints of florals. Compared to other sloe gins, Elephant Sloe Gin has a lower sugar content paired with higher alcohol volume of 35%.

Made in Germany using African botanicals, Elephant Strength Gin is an excellent example of the navy style. The design of Elephant Gin’s logo as a stamp is a nod to the letters sent home by the 19th century explorers of Africa, in which they described the botanical discoveries they made. When you subscribe to our VIP Club you’ll receive your exclusive surprise bottle in the middle of the month. Unsure what the future held, we decided to take action and make an impact to help protect the African elephant - even from afar.

The taste is complex but strikingly smooth, encompassing floral, fruity and spicy flavours, which can be enjoyed both straight or in a cocktail. The taste is complex but strikingly smooth encompassing floral, fruity and spicy flavours which can be enjoyed both straight and in a cocktail. This herb has a more camphorous flavour, notes of birch twigs, mint and a final palate of pine and black currant. As such we have invested in global protection and take action against every infringement of our rights. But it is not only the product in the loving packaging that makes the brand Elephant Gin simply likeable: With 15% of the proceeds Elephant Gin supports the Big Life Foundation as well as Space for Elephants and thus also does good for the protection of species of pachyderms in Africa.

The label has a resemblance to a stamped postage stamp, from the double-sided printed label on the back shines through a map to the front. They're joined by mountain pine, apple, orange peel, ginger, and a few more hushed-up botanicals that make Elephant Gin such a treat.

With every bottle sold, Elephant Gin contributes 15% of profits to elephant conservation charities including Big Life Foundation, while with each miniature bottle sold, 15% of profits is donated to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Whilst the Elephant London Dry Gin and Elephant Strength Gin share the same fourteen botanicals, including rare African ingredients, to create their distinctive flavour profiles, the latter uses twice the quantity of botanicals and has an ABV of 57%.
