About this deal
Contents: includes instructions, plastic mule with base and plastic game pieces: blanket, saddle shovel, canteen, pan, lantern, bedroll, rope, dynamite, hat, holster, guitar, crate. With the sensitivity setting set so low, I took a personal challenge to place the pieces in the most difficult and precarious situations. The lack of strategy is disappointing but is to be expected from a game that was clearly made for children. If the mule bucks (the back legs rise off the base) the player who added the last item is eliminated from the game.
The player can either place the item on one of the hooks on the saddle, place it on the saddle itself, or they can hang it off another item. Not sure if the stuff is too light, or the insides are too toned down, but disappointing and wouldn't recommend this to anyone!I don’t blame you if you skip this one because of the reviews but if you happen to see it on clearance for 5 bucks….
Bought this game as i remember it being loads of fun when i was a child however i dont know if they have changed the design or something because it is not at all how i used to remember. As with most games, this one is a great to work on social/pragmatic skills such as turn taking, eye contact, topic maintenance, answering and asking WH questions, etc. Personalised advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information under California and other state privacy laws, and you may have a right to opt out.
While some kids might be scared, I actually think a lot of young children will laugh when the mule does decide to buck. The mule is reset by pressing the legs back onto the base and locking them in position with the tail.So on a Sunday night, we pealed off the shrink wrap and started evaluating the game based on the fiercely loyal and lovable character, Bullseye. In the (unlikely) event that a player manages to place the last item onto the mule's back without it bucking, that player is the winner. Coming from the pistil of a variety of crocuses, this most expensive spice in the world is nicknamed "red gold".
