About this deal

The 4K disc is pressed on a BD-100 disc with the 1080p on a BD-50 with another BD-25 disc for the bonus features. It becomes a complicated web of lies and twists where the Riddler (Paul Dano) always has the upper hand. Home Entertainment has done an excellent job here and essentially does this film justice on home video in 4K.

uncomfortably close poster-themed cover artwork, a matching slipcover, and a Digital Copy redemption code.

Admittedly, the Blu-ray version of the film is brighter but it just doesn’t feel the same as this 4K visual presentation with HDR. Most action and music are centralized to the left and right front channels but it all is spread out across the rears and height channels in appropriate manners to make you feel right in the midst of the entire film. Pattinson himself wants to see a take on the Court of Owls saga while director Matt Reeves hopes to bring Mr.

He's a perfect villain with that flawless mix of calm that explodes into an insane chaotic madness that is extremely terrifying because initially what he's doing makes only a little bit of sense exposing corrupt leaders, but of course, there's much more to it in the long run. For those who can't wait until May, or have just adopted the all-digital approach to entertainment, The Batman will be available on HBO Max on April 18 before airing on traditional HBO on April 23.But again, this is what makes this particular Batman film so good, is that these two characters are brutal and honest detectives first, crossing in the shadows and working mostly alone that really drives this darker thriller home and true to the original Batman form. I knew that I didn’t want to do an origin tale and I didn’t want to do a story where you saw Bruce going through the trauma and then becoming Batman because that has been done brilliantly many times.

Batman himself has his own moral code that he likes to follow but must navigate that fine line of vengeance and justice while coping with rumors and truths about his family. And of course, this series says that it's completely great to go in a different direction with an old franchise and tell a thrilling and fun story that doesn't follow the normal path. It's hard to compare this to the hit show Batman: The Animated Series because they are two completely different takes on the character. The Batman” arrives on the 4K UHD Blu-ray format with a Dolby Atmos sound mix, just as was the case during the theatrical and streaming [HBO Max] debut of the film.Meanwhile, we’ve got all your spoilers in our guide to the movie's ending, or you can read more about the post-credits scene here. The latest issue of Radio Times is on sale now – subscribe now to get each issue delivered to your door. brings fans an exciting 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release with an excellent Dolby Vision HDR transfer with a demo-worthy Atmos track and some interesting worthwhile bonus features. The cinematography by Greig Fraser is nothing short of perfection along with Reeves' direction, this is the BEST looking Batman to date. A psychopath, The Riddler (Paul Dano), is killing off high-ranking Gotham officials and in the process, exposing their corruption.

I also dug that instead of a cat-like mask she’s turned a black pussyhat into a makeshift balaclava. I’d like to first state that the film’s director Matt Reeves actually discusses in the audio commentary track thinking of how a specific scene would feel in the immersive sound format, so he decided to consult with his sound department about how to make it come across perfect in the Dolby Atmos mix. There is some great directionality with the sound effects and ambient noises of citizens of Gotham chattering in the background as well. Michael Giacchino’s score is a great accompaniment to any given scene and is well placed through the front/center/height channels and for some segments into the sides. squeeze onto the format for sure, and for those with small to medium sized displays the video presentation will possibly be "good enough". release right out of the gate, The Batman 4K will likely sneak into my list of this year's best home video packages. For those who can’t wait to check it out, on the other hand, it’s screening in cinemas from Friday, March 4th 2022.
