It is not long before her successful and safe life starts crumbling all around her as she realizes she has a target on her back. It’s gritty and down-to-earth with intrigue, suspense, interesting characters and twists and turns and I’ve been so enthralled by what Laura and her daughter Candice are being put through that I’ve not been able to stop reading and have finished the book in less than a day. As always the author really builds up the characteristics of the main characters so that you really get to know them.I loved the characters and how Heather tells the story of not only their current situation but does it in a way that made me either love them or hate them.
