About this deal

tv, has been launched to give content creators a fair chance for their talent to be noticed and, most importantly, to be more quickly financially rewarded. On “Local”, there is this inherent balance as the drums take the lead on this short but sweet selection. What was particularly special about these mixes was the fact that they were not yet another continuation of the DJ mix where we could get an hours worth of pure dance floor numbers. I've heard this CD the first time while driving by train from Kassel to Frankfurt/Main (Germany) in the evening, it will often join my on train rides from now on.

I hate to say this, being the huge Underworld fan that I am, but this is my least favorite in the "Back to Mine" series (Talvin Singh's being my fav so far). Beautiful but not cheesy, rare records but not boring, with the emphasis on tracks themselves, not DJ skills ruining records. The celebrity mix compilation has been a staple for many years now with varying degrees of purpose and quality. Review:We're used to hearing Horse Meat Disco set the peak of the night alight with their fierce and fabulous route through disco, house and Italo, but what happens after the dance? Few "chill-out" records manage to keep listener interest all way long, but this one certainly captivates your attention.

Then as you matured a little and stopped trying to be 'cool' and really learned to appreciate music and then as you aged you realized that grandma's music was pretty bad ass?

And the most recognisable for many no doubt is Betty Chung’s 1968 classic ‘Bang Bang’ thanks to the vocals of the Nancy Sinatra cover being sampled in the Audio Bullys rework in 2005. Mixing electro, funk and jazz, the feeling you get from listening to this mix is not one of resignation to the land of sleep.the copyright in this Sound Recording is owned by Hard Hands Ltd under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment (U) Ltd. Seeing what they would play when the ugly lights had come on and the desire to either unwind or keep a party flowing was rolling through them. As well as being renowned for his photographic and design work under the name ‘ISO50’, Tycho’s music is a blend of various stylistic components, namely in the indie/electronica world blending downtempo guitar, analogue synths and ambient elements such as breathing sounds and excerpts from weather broadcasts and dialogue. Tycho’s magnificent take on Ulrich Schnauss’“In All the Wrong Places” displaces his love of the variation of the ambient palette on this selection.

The first volume of Back To Mine was released back in 1999 by Nick Warren, designed to showcase a selection of tracks you’d find and be heard playing at the artist's home. The final selection is the eponymous track which clocks in at an hour and fourteen minutes of sophisticated ambient sonics to accompany your next cocktail party. It was a peak behind the curtain into an area where only friends and family were normally permitted. Their entry into the lauded chill-out series originally came out in 2000, and while it might not be too hard to find one of the CD copies, the triple vinyl set fetches princely sums these days.Ambient/Techno fans will find that this compilation scratches an itch as Tycho provides an exhilarating release. There really is no continuity within this comp, there are some good tracks here and there, but overall they don't come together very well. Beginning with the bluesy late night lament of Barbara Moore's "Steam Heart", the pair takes us on a warming and eye-opening journey through Afrobeat (Inflo), glassy-eyed wind-down deep house (Manuel Darquart, Admin's brilliant "Space Cadet"), skewed pop (Mocky), string-laden jazz-funk (Kamaal Williams), Serge Gainsbourg-esque chanson (Sam Evian), drowsy Balearica (Mansur Brown), and loved-up 1960s style dream pop (The Flying Stars Of Brooklyn NY, HNNY). In 2022, following an eight-year live hiatus, Hard-Fi advised that they would play a handful of dates, including a gig at the Kentish Town Forum in London.
