Ledger offers Kenna a part-time job to help stabilize her financially. During their conversation, Kenna reveals to Ledger that she has written many letters to Scotty that Ledger should read. This letter also contains the mystery of Scotty’s death. And then he offers her a job- to help her out. Well, ok. But he only gives her the job because he has feelings for her. And the whole time he's being an ass to her and saying she's scum, and then he's getting all salty and possessive when she talks to her co-workers. PUH-LEASE. Not to mention that he's her boss at this point and he knows he's one of her only sources of income, he keeps putting her in sexual situations where it's arguably hard for Kenna to say no.Discuss the way Kenna’s relationship with Ledger developed throughout the novel, particularly based on this context of choosing between two of her own. On the other hand, Ledger finally learns of Kenna’s true identity but he realizes Kenna’s situation is going on. Kenna’s first attempt to meet her daughter Dim through the laundry’s first door fails. First of all, CoHo should’ve made this into a THRILLER cause I think the premise would make for a better romantic suspense than whatever this ended up being. Alas, this book showed that the Queen did indeed MISS once in a while. 🤷‍♀️ If you are a fan of Colin Hoover, you must have read his most popular book Reminders of Him PDF, It Ends With Us, because a romance journey can never be complete without a Colin Hoover novel. Reminders of Him is a tearjerker-y, melodramatic romance novel and a good one at that. It’s an uncomplicated and somewhat predictable story, and it’s not literary or even semi-literary, so anyone hoping for something like that should unequivocally skip it. Instead, it’s a book that does a good job of being the type of book that it’s trying to be. I’ve been in a motorbike crash TWICE, but both were minor and I wasn’t the driver. It didn’t feel great, but it didn’t send me into a tailspin of panic the likes of Kenna’s either, so I guess I shouldn’t judge. In any case, somehow I expected the accident to be a misunderstanding. And perhaps, the plot twist would be her dead boyfriend being the driver/the one at fault; hence, Kenna was falsely accused, but she accepted her sentence cause she felt guilty. I mean, wouldn’t that be more epicly plausible???
