About this deal

All three lighting units can be powered either using the included mains power cable or using a V-Mount battery (Sold Separately) with the built-in V-Mount battery plates for use on both studio and location shoots. The entire VL series lighting units come with Bowens S-Type mount as standard to allow these to be used with a selection of different light modifiers to offer ample light control. The VLII Series now features a selection of built-in lighting FX presents, making it easy to emulate certain lighting situations, to help bring your films to life. These lighting effects include Storms, Flashes, TV, Broken Bulbs, etc. Shoot At Virtually Any Framerate.

The VL300 LED Video Light from Godox is a lightweight and compact LED monolite-style light source suitable for portrait, still life, and location photography, and also for video-based applications. The daylight-balanced COB LED features a CRI rating of 96 and TLCI rating of 95, producing highly accurate colour renditions and rendering extremely realistic flesh tones. When away from the unit itself, there is a dedicated remote control for each unit as well as Bluetooth compatibility to work alongside the Godox smartphone app. The VLII series features an ultra-quiet cooling fan, rated at less than 30 dB. This makes them suitable for use in sound-sensitive filming situations such as filming interviews, Can Be Powered Anywhere Again, as with the previously mentioned lighting series, the name indicates the power output of each lighting unit. The UL-60 has a maximum power output of 60W and the UL-150 has a much larger power output of 150W. This is further shown in the difference in brightness between each of the units as when measured at 1m, the UL-150 is much brighter at 58,000 LUX compared to the 31,000 LUX offered by the UL-60 light. The Godox UL-60 does offer a selection of features not available with the UL-150 unit, such as a selection of different lighting effects to choose between to add mood and drama to your cinematography. It also features Bluetooth connectivity to allow it to be controlled by the Godox smartphone app and supports DMX512 protocol to control a single or multiple units via a DMX control console. The Godox VLII Series can deliver a brightness of up to 90,000 Lux at 1m with the standard reflector (11,600 lux bare bulb). This makes the Godox VLII series powerful workhorses for cinematography and video production.

Key Features

The Godox VLII Series maintain its super-high CRI (Colour-Rendering Index) rating of ≥96 and a TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of ≥96 for accurate colour reproduction. This ensures that colours are reproduced faithfully in your photographs and in your footage. The VL150II is suitable for Professional Broadcast use as well as for Filmmaking and Commercial Cinematography. Built-In Lighting FX Moving the V-mount battery plates and light controls out of the light body and into the standalone control box allows for easily placing the light wherever it needs to be without the added bulk and weight of large V-mount cells. The controller box comes complete with a 4-pin XLR type power cable for easy placement. It features an antenna for the separately available wireless radio remote, and a Bluetooth antenna for using the GodoxPhoto app on iOS or Android portable devices. What’s In the Box: The VLII Series all use the ever-popular Bowens S-Type accessory mount, which makes it compatible with a wide range of modifiers such as Softboxes, Fresnel Lenses, spotlight attachments, snoots diffuser-balls plus much more.

The VL300II can be either powered via a mains AC power outlet or via V-Mount batteries (available separately), when shooting in locations where access to mains power isn’t available. This enables your creative ideas to be realised with virtually no limitations when it comes to location. The VL300II can output a lot of power, whilst maintaining a lightweight and compact body. They feature a separate control panel, which not only makes the light itself smaller and lighter. It also enables you to easily control the light without a remote, even when the light is mounted high up. Impeccable Colour Accuracy. The Godox VLII Series can deliver a brightness of up to 90,000 Lux at 1m with the standard reflector (11,600 lux bare bulb). This makes the Godox VLII series powerful workhorses for cinematography and video production. Compact And LightweightAs the name implies, the power output is different between each unit. The VL300 is the most powerful of the three units offering 300W power output, the VL200 is next with a power output of 200W and the VL150 is last on the list with 150W power output. With the difference in power output also comes a difference between the brightness of all three units. When measured at 1m, the VL150 offers the lowest brightness of 61,000 LUX, the VL200 follows with a brightness of 75,000 LUX and the VL300 is the brightest of the three lights with a brightness of 77,000 LUX.
