In every romance, there's always that last minute fight. And the one in this book? Horrible. Specifically because of how it handles mental health issues. In her usual fashion, Elle Kennedy delivered very steamy, get ready to change your panties New Adult romantic comedy, that will make your heart swell, your lady parts beg for attention and laugh out loud like crazy lunatic. A New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Elle Kennedy grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, and holds a B.A. in English from York University. From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a writer, and actively began pursuing that dream when she was a teenager. Grace is able to meet Garrett and Hannah and get to know them which Logan really likes because they’re his best friends.

Besides, it’s not like I haven’t had opportunities to lose my virginity this year. Since I came to Briar University, my best friend has dragged me to more parties than I can count. Guys have flirted with me, sure. A few of them straight up tried to seduce me. One even sent me a picture of his penis with the caption “It’s all yours, baby.” Which was…fine, it was super gross, but I’m sure if I’d truly liked him, I might have been, um, flattered by the gesture? Maybe? Aside from that, I really loved this. Logan was absolutely swoon worthy. I loved him and Grace together. I loved him in general. Sure you get another hero with "daddy issues" but I couldn't find it in me to care.Grace is understandably annoyed with all of these people. She becomes quite upset in the canteen, except then Logan arrives and kisses her on the cheek, and asks her to follow him. The two of them leave together, so the friends are forced to believe Grace. Delicious, complicated and drama-filled . . . I read it in one sitting, and you will, too’ L. J. Shen, USA Today bestselling author Logan and Grace’s relationship wasn’t easy in the beginning, but I loved that all the pesky relationship drama was over with sooner rather than later. It’s a relief not to have all that happening right at the end of the book! Logan is one of those characters that I connected to immediately. He had so much depth and was willing to sacrifice so much for family and for those that he loved. He was completely devoted and a stand up guy. There were times in the first half that Grace irked me, but overall she was a great character too. I kind of love that she didn’t give in to Logan so easily. I also loved that she was supportive of him and what he felt he needed to do with his life after college.

The Ivers family practically founded Massachusetts, and we've got some Scottish and Irish roots, I think. SPEAKING of hashtags, the only thing that could have been better in the first 85% of this book, would've been if instead of Logan just showing up and making a scene in the dining hall, he'd've taken a selfie and tweeted it, #PipeDownStevens. By contrast, THE MISTAKE takes everything I loved about the first book and takes a big, fat dump on it. Grace, the heroine, is a virgin. Being a virgin is at the forefront of her mind, because she's suffering a major case of FOMO with regard to the "college experience" (e.g. wild, crazy sex). Logan, on the other hand, is obsessed with Garrett's girlfriend, Hannah. He wants her for himself, and since he knows he can't have her, he just uses a different girl every night (sometimes more than one). When he and Grace meet, he walks into her room by accident and they just watch a movie together. Logan has some problems, but the premise of their relationship isn't really founded on mutual understanding and affection. It's mostly physical; they just think each other super hot. Then came THE MISTAKE. Even when I was able to hold in the sound from the bursts of laughter, I couldn't stop the full-body shaking. If you found our recaps useful, please consider leaving a tip! Read a full summary of The Mistake by Elle Kennedy below. If you can’t remember what happened in The Mistake and you need a refresher, then you’re in the right place. What happened in The Mistake? The last time Dean Heyward-Di Laurentis was sober at a party was never. Dude drinks like a fish or gets higher than a kite every time he leaves the house, and if you think that affects his performance on the ice in any way, then think again. He’s one of those rare creatures who can party like past-day Robert Downey Jr. and somehow be as successful and revered as present-day Robert Downey Jr. His jaw drops. “Narcissist? More like realist. Look at these abs, Wellsy. Actually, touch them. Seriously. It will change your life.”

As expected, the two eventually work everything out. Thankfully, Grace doesn't let him off the hook easily and makes him work for her forgiveness. I hate it when heroines forgive major infractions with a cursory apology, so I was glad that didn't happen here. I don’t have any.” She stops to think. “But I’ve got a whole bag of gummy bears hidden in my desk drawer.”

There was the one "friend" of Grace's, Ramona, that I wanted to punch in both ovaries and then not-so-gently push her off a bridge because hello twat alert! I was glad to see that Grace wasn't such a pushover with her as she was in the beginning, but hopefully she never gets a book. I swears every time I read her name all I could think of was crazy Ramona from Real Housewives and I wanted to reach through my kindle and throttle her.

I loved the story. There was no unnecessary drama, it was funny and steamy. There was not too much sex in the book but still, it will twist your panties. Oh, shut up. You’re awesome, and I’d tap that in a second. But I can’t compete with this guy. He’s operating on a whole other level when it comes to you.” Well done Elle Kennedy, well done! I wasn't expecting to like this one as much as The Deal but I did, dammit. Even more than the first!
