HEIW are a Special Health Authority within NHS Wales formed on 1.10.2018 and have a leading role in education, training and development to support high-quality care for the people of Wales. The Hicom agreement transferred to their ownership in 2018/2019. The placement of this single source contract to Hicom to extend IT solution support allows HEIW the opportunity to continue with critical service whilst undertaking a review and developing long term requirements to support education, progression and training of the trainee workforce for the future. The Organisation shall ensure that all personnel with access to the Intrepid Service will act in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the terms of the Agreement with Hicom Technology. Intrepid is an online suite of integrated software products designed to manage training, education and career progression in the healthcare sector. Health Boards in Wales will also produce reports identifying individuals for local reporting requirements. In this instance, it is the health board and not HEIW who is responsible for any data sharing with a third party.
