About this deal

Instead, Halloween Ends is about something else altogether, and that will prove frustrating for fans. Like Halloween Kills, it expands the mythology and legacy of Michael Myers, putting a new-ish spin on the series. We've seen similar takes before, although if we pointed out the Halloween sequels Ends closely resembles, it could be a spoiler. In his free time, Shane loves going for runs and playing with his 16-year-old beagle Butterscotch. Butters for short, she has been the greatest love of his and inspires him everyday, both creatively and emtionally. On top of that, he's now a huge collector. He loves Funko Pop, McFarlane Toys, and Neca's huge line of horror figures. In the last two years he has been going to a lot of conversations to buy an unhealthy amount of figures. This has also allowed him to meet some of his favorite filmmakers/actors like Mike Flanagan, Matthew Lillard, John Carpenter, Grace Caroline Curry, Steve Burns and Kathryn Newton. The most acclaimed and revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying finale as Laurie Strode (Curtis) faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney)," Universal's official synopsis for Halloween Ends reads. "Michael hasn't been seen for four years after the events of Halloween Kills. Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and has chosen to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. When a young man is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, a cascade of violence and terror is ignited with a final confrontation between Laurie and Michael unlike any ever captured on screen. Only one of them will survive." No Place Like Haddonfield (1080p, 7:49): Exploring how this film looks at some of the nooks and crannies around Haddonfield and how Halloween Ends does eventually come to the face-off that it's promised and delivers on it in bloody style. We've seen many Laurie vs Michael variations before, but Green finds a fresh angle on it to add a definitive flourish.

Was going to give 4 stars as I actually liked the film , a treat to hear one of my favourite bands the dead kennedys on the film.

trying something different, but fans will immediately think of several more interesting ways that the character could have been integrated into the Final Girl –The iconic Jamie Lee Curtis discusses the legacy of Laurie Strode and what playing the character has meant to her. As Corey gets most of the screen time, this leads the film to an unexcitingly bland final showdown between iconic final girl Jamie Lee Curtis and The Shape. If we'd gotten to know Corey earlier, the focus on him could have meant more, but as a late-in-the-game pinch-hitter killer, he misses the ball. While Laurie and Corey get the most character care and attention, Allyson is frustratingly pushed to the side. After playing a strong and interesting character in the last two films, she just sorta sits there as a passive and irrational plot device instead of someone with an arc.

Final Girl - The iconic Jamie Lee Curtis discusses the legacy of Laurie Strode and what playing the character has meant to her. Say what you will about Halloween Ends, but it’s refreshing that after the filmmakers and the studio behind it played things safe for two films they decided to take the leap and do something drastically different that’s not just entertaining, but supersedes the films that came before it. Most will hate it because it’s not a true closing to a trilogy, but I frankly don’t care. I wasn’t entirely interested in seeing the film after the previous one, but it exceeded my expectations. Regardless, the UHD presentation is top notch, but now that this series is over, let’s get a boxed set together with some substantial bonus materials for a change. Enough with the fluff. The 4K UHD release of Halloween Ends released on December 27 and is loaded with a variety of special features. While it doesn’t include an extended cut of the film like the release of Halloween Kills did, it does include a selection of deleted and extended scenes that give a better idea of what the filmmakers were going for when they made the film. Seeing the crew explain their thought process about how Halloween Ends was made does help somewhat with understanding why the film turned out the way it does, though personally the ending of the film still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. The latest TV spot for the final movie in the reboot trilogy is released. It features the iconic score and the line; 'This time, it will be different' delivered by Jamie Lee Curtis. If your biggest Halloween Kills complaint was that it was just a series of killings in place of a plot, then Halloween Ends is the reverse of that. For the final outing, David Gordon Green has slowed things down for a different kind of Halloween movie, but it only really leads to other problems. If there’s been one constant with this new trilogy it's each film has scored an excellent 4K transfer, and that trend continues with this 2160p Dolby Vision presentation of Halloween Ends. The film was shot digitally and finished with a 4K digital intermediate. Appropriately dreary and cold, the image is impeccably detailed with facial features, clothing, masks, and gore getting all of the care and attention they deserve. Michael’s cobwebbed burnt mask is a standout for all of the close-up action we see with the short amount of screen time he gets.is frequently in evidence in the numerous lower light moments throughout the film, beginning with the opening sequence. Otherwise, viewers will find a narratively worthwhile, or universe building arc for him, never mind do anything to leave a lasting legacy on the franchise.
