About this deal

The battles you fight with yourself are very real. And if you arm yourself with the right strategies, you will win. Focusing more on the positive side of things makes you worry less about the bad situations in your life. We can’t control so many things in our lives. For example, when you lose a loved one, think of all the fun and memorable thoughts you had with that person instead of worrying that you can’t meet him or her again. As the Bible said in Matthew 6:27, “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” Darius claims that fear restricts us from becoming who we can be and pushes us to play small to fit in while secretly or openly talking about how we want our lives to be. Life is long. Don’t burn out before you reach the end. That’s pure self-sabotage. Instead, save yourself. 6. Never QuestionLife

It is important to have a PURPOSE in life. It doesn’t mean we need to have our entire life cut out for us, it means we have something to work towards, that gives us a sense of JOY and MEANING.The book summarizes, more or less, what any other motivational book (of the same theme) would have done. The more competent and skilled you are in what you do; the more confident you become. In 2023, focus on a skill you need to master or improve and work towards it. Do away with everything that will distract you from achieving what you will set for yourself. You would see the results. Resistance comes from inside ourselves, although we rationalize it as being caused externally. Resistance is any excuse we can come up with, to defer our creative work. Forocux delves into the complexities of the human mind, providing insightful techniques to conquer self-doubt, fears, and negative thought patterns. You don’t care about the destination; you love the journey. No matter how hard it is. 9. Stop Making Assumptions

Win Your Inner Battles” That Can Help 5 Life Lessons From “Win Your Inner Battles” That Can Help

The book is divided into three little books(chapters) namely Inner Warfare, Control, and Purpose. Each contains suggestions, ideas and small stories. You will never get to enjoy life for what it is. Even though it makes no sense; there’s still enough beauty in life. Implementation wise, his "do it today" book covers up everything. I'd recommend that over this book. Better implement things mentioned there. Hello, my name is Makeba and it has been 22 days since I've thought about writing and decided to do something else instead. I write everyday, and this book helped me do it. This was my first self help book and it was exactly what I expected. I was always skeptical about these kind of books. And this confirmed my thoughts.Be a part of solving problems, not a part of the group that complaints. Finding a solution in life is a superpower. Three stars in both content and delivery, but I should probably also disclose that I REALLY struggle with the whole self-help genre and this was basically just a self-help book for writers and artists. I'm not sure if it genetic, or shaped by my own experience on this blue dot, but I generally HATE all forms and types of self-help book. "The sub-genre of "How to Create" books, however, are infinitely better than "How to Business" or "How to Love" or "How to Win". Even with the best writers (and I like Pressfield a lot) the lot are usually filled with jargon, cliches, and almost religious rites/steps to salvation/success. You have to realize that you’re the person who’s in control of your life. It’s not the economy, your family, spouse, boss, or anything else that you can possibly blame.

Win Your Inner Battles” Book Summary + Lessons + Inspiring “Win Your Inner Battles” Book Summary + Lessons + Inspiring

Even though we aren’t in physical danger like a hunter or gatherer days, we now give into different kinds of fear. Making a list of our worries is a great way to put them under the scanner. It’s not about achieving the goal. It’s about how the goal changes your daily life. Striving for goals forces you to form new habits. And that’s priceless. Get control over your actions and how to respond in different situations, which will lead to a purposeful life in the future. The author is determined to help his readers and apart from providing his newsletter, he has also suggested books towards the end with their summary from almost all of the non-fiction genres.Well, this book gives you tools to help you overcome all your short comings and own up to your potential as a creative member of society. There's a recurring character in my books named Telamon, a mercenary of ancient days. Telamon doesn't say much. He rarely gets hurt or wounded. And he never seems to age. His view of the profession of arms is a lot like my conception of art and the artist: I have about 13 years of collegiate and graduate art school under my belt, and I've worked in the fine and commercial arts. Thing is, I hate seeing the challenge of making art turn into this romanticized, epic battle between the poor put-upon artist and Mighty Resistance. One of the main things I’ve learned about life is that before you conquer the external world, you have to master the inner world of your mind.

Win Your Inner Battles - eBook by Darius Foroux

Darius says that happiness is a skill. Mastering that skill starts with managing your thoughts. The more we dwell on what happened to us in the past, it’s like a cinema that plays old movies over and over again. The past is history; the present is a gift, and the future is a mystery. I thought this book was going to provide practical advice on how to achieve a higher state of discipline.

Life is always unpredictable. You can’t change this process, but what you can do is manage your inner battles first then the external. This one started out with some interesting ideas, but it ended up not being very supportive. A little bullying, in fact. Without action, there is no outcome. The best cure for fear is action. Always act with courage and dominate the enemy within. Taking control means we take matters into our own hands with full responsibility.
