About this deal

For either parties, this book takes you through the journey of the narrator and we are spiritually translated across the world and it's beauty. If you believe you’ll only be happy after financial or material success, this story is for you. Because this story helps usreevaluate our definition of leadership, success, and true happiness. Is The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari A True Story?

The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari is a self-help book by Robin Sharma, a writer and motivational speaker. The book is a business fable derived from Sharma's personal experiences after leaving his career as a litigation lawyer at the age of 25. A stressed and unhappy businessman is sent on a round-the-world trip to retrieve some talismans by his uncle, a Buddhist monk. The people Jonathan meets along the way, and the lessons attached to each of the talismans, teach him how to live a better life and focus on family and friends rather than on money and advancement. His marriage failed because of his unsatisfying endeavor, he no longer spoke with his father, and he appeared to be in his late seventies at fifty-three. The story’s narrative is from the perspective of one of his associates, John, who admires Mantle’s accomplishments and strives to emulate him.

Time slips through our hands likegrains of sand, never to return again. Those who use time wisely from an early ageare rewarded with rich, productive and satisfying lives. – Robin Sharma Success on the outside begins within. You don’t attract what you want, you attract who you are. It’s worth repeating and reflecting on many times. The book has the potential to serve as an early wake-up call for many people. It is a relevant book for anyone pursuing a career in any field.

This guy doesn't waste words. And I like him quoting so many amazing lines by famous authors and successful people while narrating the lives of people. The entire book focuses on living an authentic life and finding our own selves. The power of authenticity explains the strengths, weaknesses and the deep seated unseen hopes within us. I realised how little habits that are like a daily ritual change things. They may look so insignificant like day-to-day activities we easily imbibe, but they make a lot of difference. This reminds me a bit of The Miracle Morning, but it’s more than that. You can see it extends way beyond your morning but that’s the whole point. A good morning leads to a good day, which, ultimately, leads to a good life. Lesson 3: Selflessly serve others and you’ll be better off yourself. Life's Simplest Pleasures Are Life's Greatest Joys: I guess this simply what the 'Developed' countries are suffering from. They ran after increasing production and therefore consumption. Fancy cars, homes and life. When they got all these stuff the discovered that all this stuff doesn't really deserve all this journey !

And, I don’t feel helped. I don’t feel like my life has been enlightened. I feel like I’ve been told to get up earlier in the morning and meditate. I could have told me that before. Somehow, I couldn’t believe in these monks doing their one-handed press-ups at 4am every morning. I felt sorry for them. What sort of enlightenment requires being in the same village forever? How did the monks know about the real world if they didn’t experience it?

The book takes the form of a fable about Julian Mantle, a high-profile attorney with a crazy schedule and a set of priorities that center around money, power and prestige. As such, Mantle represents the values of our society. The story is told from the perspective of one of his associates, who admires Mantle’s great success and aspires to be like him. The Ritual of Spoken Word. Write down a short mantra you can repeat to yourself throughout the day.I still remember seeing these wonderful looking people seated on the little bamboo chairs reading their strangely bound books with the subtle smiles of enlightenment unforlding across their lips."
