About this deal

Reminds me slightly of Lanvin Oxygène Homme. Probably that 'fir' note. But Skinwear is a more wearable and versatile, and the one I prefer of the two. I'm reminded a little of Bvlgari's Aqva Pour Homme Atlantiqve - which I don't rate at all. In the middle is a warmth and roundness to the scent. There are Oceanic notes here that will bring to mind Aqua Di Giorgio amongst others. Skinwear by Ted Baker is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Skinwear was launched in 1998. Top notes are Lime, Lemon and Bergamot; middle notes are Cypress, Juniper and Rosemary; base notes are Sandalwood, Musk, Cedar and Amber. I'd forgotten how good this is, but possibly because I've not it seen on a shelf anywhere for a very long time. (Out of sight, out of mind.) I'd wear this year round even if it is an obvious hot weather choice; but I'd say it is be a great 'travelling' scent too. The whole together is like the combination of the old-school French perfumery style (Eau Savage, Givenchy Pour Monsieur, Chanel Pour Monsieur) all of which feature a defined Lemon edge alongside the warmth of classic “old guy” scents and given a “current” twist with an Oceanic/Aquatic angle. Really nice stuff.

Ted Baker launched Skinwear Limited Edition Eau de Toilette by Ted Baker in 2021 as a woody aromatic fragrance for men. Ted Baker created this subtle aroma that won’t overpower any outfit with it refreshing mix. Skinwear Limited Edition by Ted Baker opens of with refreshing lemon, bergamot and zingy lime them moves onto garden heart blend of juniper, cypress and rosemary then finishes the scent with smooth clean woods cedar, sandalwood, sweet amber and long-lasting musk. Ted Baker has a portfolio of stores in the UK and USA and is also present in leading department stores.

|Make-up and skincare services, BrowBar benefit, gifting and personalisation workshop, Sephora offers you a whole range of services to come and discover in store Opens with a fresh citrus with it possibly leaning subtly towards the lime element; then a definite juniper, followed by a subtle fir note, rosemary, cedar and amber. By the end, it is curiously woody but at the same time really fresh and airy. A bit salty and ozonic too to my thinking. The drydown changes direction with its woodsy/herbal side, as well as the cedar and soft musky notes later on in the base, are not bad, but at times a bit generic and a tad too synthetic on my skin. Its not sharp and has a soft musky tone that always gets good compliments. Its great for everyday workwear esp in the summer and it stays fresh all day.

Today Ted Baker offers a wide range of collections including: Menswear, Womenswear, Global, Endurance, Pashion, Langley, Accessories, Fragrance, Skinwear, Footwear, Eyewear and Watches. Ted Baker Skinwear opens with a bergamot and lime combo that nearly immediately meshes with a strong oceanic accord from the heart notes that is a bit salty. This overall accord almost has an almost tarragon-like nature and could easily be mistaken for it. Base notes of clean musk and cedar wood add structure to the mostly fruity aquatic nature of the scent from start to finish. Projection and longevity are both average. The cool thing about this fragrance is that theres no clone of it! Even though its a cheapie i've never smelt anything like it, i get tonnes of compliments when i wear it. The overall feel is very airy and translucent and I kinda think Ted Baker represents 'fresh' in skinwear better than most.

Skinwear Original 100ml EDT by Ted Baker is a crisp and masculine scent with top notes of lime and bergamot that captivates the senses. With heart notes of cypress and junipers, this fresh and sophisticated fragrance is a great addition to any collection. Projection is pretty poor and longevity is not very good. It is quite weak - I used 6+ sprays rather than my usual 2 and it didn't last very well at 4 hours. This might be in the citrus/aquatic/woody sorta catagory but I've still never smelt anything like it. As it dries down there is an odd note I don't like that just bothers me. Doesn't completely ruin the fragrance but puts me off.

I catch myself walking round in circles (like a nut-case) just to catch the scent as if it were on somebody else and it really is great in an understated but confident sort of way.It settles down nicely but the classic combination of the Lemon on the top and the Woods on the bottom alongside the quirky Oceanic twist work so well and create a sporty feeling fragrance that wouldn't be out of place with a Suit, a Tux or a pair of Jeans/Chinos (delete as applicable).

Initially this smells quite nice. Citric notes that dry down to a more subtle, warmer, gently woody scent. It has a few extra notes, mainly the rosemary and juniper that just really change it and stand out. Bergamot and lemon, pleasant, fresh and summery, developing a bit of an aquatic and ozonic character - as mentioned previously, this contains calone galore.

The mix of rosemary, mint, cypress, lemon and sandlewood all at once creates a great mix. Its a fresh woody with a hint of soap. The odd note is a kind of synthetic, cheap new shoes crossed with a cheap soap smell. If that note did not annoy me the fragrance would be OK.
