With its stylish design and standout looks, the Quinny Moodd makes a bold statement – you and your child are going to be head turners in every street. Suitable from birth to 15 kg (approx. 3.5 years), this fashionable Quinny pushchair includes a colour matching baby nest designed for your newborn’s comfort and a large colour coordinated shopping basket (max. 5 kg) to store your child’s everyday essentials when out and about. The Moodd maneuverability is good. It’s pretty light and effortless to push on a smooth ground or if you have a smaller child onboard. However, if you have a child near the weight limit, you’ll definitely need both hands. It’s not the most practical pram for city use or our current circumstances, due to the weight and size. It would be great if you go on a lot of long walks in the countryside, and I do think we’ll use it more when we move house and don’t have to cope with stairs. This foldable carrycot offers the optimal comfort for a newborn on a stroll as it allows the newborn to travel lying flat. It can accommodate babies from birth to about 15 Ibs. The inside of the carrycot measures 29 inches by 11 inches, so it should be able to last till the baby is around 6 months old. Like the reasurrance of buying from one of the largest independent nursery retailers in the country but don't like the idea of paying too much? Not a problem! We work hard every day to bring you the best possible prices. But sometimes, somewhere, someone is selling the item you want for less. Let us help!

But if none of these issues are a factor – e.g. if you live in a house, on the ground floor, drive a car with a big boot, don’t have to use public transport – it’s definitely one to consider, especially as it’s so comfortable for babies and mine loved it. The footrest is also not connected to the seat all the way so there will not be any flat surfaces/calf rest to support the baby’s legs before they are long enough to reach the footrest. The casing on the seat unit reflects the glossy plastic used on the rear wheels. It gives such a ‘car showroom' finish to the overall look but you must remember to treat it carefully, scratches are going to be as noticeable as a keyed car on the Moodd. The seat is padded and slightly curved round the sides which makes for a good head rest. Eliza finds it really comfortable (and the acid test; she fell asleep in it within about 10 minutes at The Baby Show) When matched with a Maxi-Cosi Mico AP baby car seat, transferring your child from the car out to the Quinny stroller becomes a breeze. The ultra-modern design of the seat and canopy gives the Moodd stroller a unique egg-shape, which has a chic feel.

The tyres are inflatable, making it really smooth to sit and and great to push. It comes with a pump which is stored in the basket. What is nice about this Quinny stroller is that the pushbar is adjustable. The handle extends from 37” to 41” above the ground to accommodate the tallest and shortest of moms and dads. Simply press on the button in the middle of the handle bar to adjust the extension of the handle bar to your height so that you can stroll in comfort! Our flat is up two flights of stairs, and as we don’t like to leave things downstairs overnight we need something that’s fairly portable We love a good handlebar, as it's important for the adult to be comfy with the push. Covered with soft foam it has a good adjustable scope for the majority of sizes. Something that is common with modern pushchairs is that the adjustment button is placed right in the centre, so if you are pushing one handed from the centre of the handlebar, it can make it slightly difficult to manoeuvre. Although the reversed deep recline position is said to be suitable for newborns, I personally would only put a baby in it after 3-4 months old because the seat is not totally flat and the design of the stroller seat is relatively open. From six months+ you can use the normal seat, which can be in both forward and parent facing modes and has three levels of recline The Moodd stroller weighs 33 Ibs (well, the cool unfold mechanism comes at a weight). For moms, you may not be able to easily throw the stroller into your trunk unless you remove the seat first and put the 2 pieces in separately. Besides looking trendy and being comfortably plush, the Quinny carrycot is also designed to protect the little ones from the wind and the Sun, and shelter their sensitive eyes from the Sun. There’s a padded apron that zips over the top, as well as an adjustable canopy with an additional pull out Sun visor. The beautiful baby nest matches the red in the seat but is lined with a contrasting coral orange jersey which includes a zip-in head rest and foot bumper. The straps all thread through the holes in the bottom to keep your baby safe, plus the top can be completely zipped off for warmer days. Although it is very attractive, there is not enough side protection afforded by the pushchair for my liking, so personally, I would probably opt to buy the new collapsible carrycot that fits the Moodd. The Quinny Moodd 3-in-1 travel system is a great travel solution if you’re looking for something that you can use from birth. I love how the way Quinny Foldable Tukk Carrier works as a pram on the Moodd frame. It is practical, stylish and a real comfort for the newborns.
