Once you have your picture selected and ready to print, you can hit the print icon in the app, or tap your Android device to the top again for an automatic print. From hitting print to actually having one takes 50 seconds give or take a few seconds. You can find both monochrome and coloured photo printers in India. Some are even available with retro settings to meet all your photo printing needs easily. One thing we're not doing is printing them out - just 12% of us admit to making physical copies of our digital snaps. Not knowing how to print from a mobile or the perception that it’s difficult to get pictures from a smartphone to a printer are among the reasons cited. The app offers options for both Gallery, which lets you find an existing photo on your phone to print it, and Camera, which takes you to the camera app on the phone so you can take a photo and then print it. Is the Polaroid Zip Zink Printer the easy way to print snaps
We put the Polaroid Zip Zink mobile printer to the test and found it was simple and straightforward to use. Paper is easy to load into the top of the printer and then you just need to pair the device with your smartphone using Bluetooth, creating a connection that remains stable and doesn’t drop out. On the plus side, the Zip offers reasonably long battery life. Polaroid says you can print at least 25 photos on a full charge, and I managed to get well over 30. The company also says it takes 90 minutes to fully recharge. The printer only takes about two seconds to power on. Once you make your edits and add any embellishments, you can save your work or immediately print it. It takes about 35 seconds for your photo to emerge after you hit “Print” on your phone—not bad for a ZINK printer. We expected the print time to be longer, especially when adding a frame to the print, but there was no difference in print time. One of the biggest problem with older Polaroid mobile printers were they had trouble connecting with new smart phones. Specially it was nearly impossible for connecting to iPhones. Fujifilm created their own app for Instax Share SP-1 so it can connect with both iOS and Android devices. Looks like Polaroid has learned the lesson from then and had done same. Now using this new Polaroid Zip Printer along with the Polaroid ZIP app you can print directly from a mobile phone or tablet via Bluetooth or NFC technology. On other hand this is the successor of Polaroid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer. They had no choice but to release this since Fujifilm Instax Share Smartphone Printer SP-1 has been taking over the mobile printer market. Pogo printer is so primitive so it’s a no match for Instax Share SP-1. With this new device Polaroid has done it best to sort all the problems old printer had. Well they have succeeded.Image quality, unfortunately, is not a strong point. Colors tend to be dark in terms of a hue-saturation-brightness color model, and not always well saturated, which in many cases makes them look dull. In images with a lot of dark tones, the shift toward darkening the colors also loses significant shadow detail (details based on shading in dark areas). So although the photos in my tests all qualify as true photo quality, they're very much at the low end of the scale.

The printer uses Polaroid's Zink zero-ink printing technology, which uses special Zink paper embedded with cyan, yellow and magenta dye crystals. The crystals start off colorless, but as the print is being made, heat activates the crystals, changing them into the appropriate colors. Thanks to cameras on smartphones, we’re a nation of happy snappers. In fact, we each have an average of 651 photos each stored on our smartphone. This printer might not best for wedding. Battery doesn’t last long enough for an event like that. If you want a cheaper and better option, Polaroid Z340 is your best choice. It would be cheaper than hiring a PhotoBooth. It has replaceable batteries too. Pros I timed the printer at 42 to 43 seconds per photo, which makes it faster than the competition. The VuPoint IPWF-P01-VP took 1 minute 13 seconds to 1:18 on my tests. The Fujifilm SP-1 took only 18 to 28 seconds to eject the photo from the printer, but it comes out with no image showing, and you have to wait for it to develop.
