Hypromellose is an inert substance and is not expected to be absorbed systemically. Hence, although no systemic toxicity studies have been conducted it is not expected to demonstrate any systemic toxicity or to have any effect on reproductive processes. The recommended dosage for adults, children and elderly is one or two drops topically instilled into the eye three times daily as needed, or as directed by a physician. Hold the bottle upside down near to your eye, without touching your eye. Apply pressure to the bottle to release one drop. HYLO-Tear A preservative free eye drop containing 0.1% Hyaluronic Acid which provides long lasting, soothing relief for all forms of dry eye. Supplied in a unique, multi-dose 10ml bottle containing 300 guaranteed equal drops Hylo Tears Eye is used for the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to conservative nonpharmacologic therapy, and to simple analgesics, e.g., acetaminophen.

Hylo Tears Eye is injected directly into your knee joint. A healthcare provider will give you this injection.
