About this deal

Once folded the MuslinZ muslins is held in place with a Nappi Nippa. Nippas are very simple to use and after a few practices putting a nappy on a teddy bear you'll be an expert. No risk of scratching baby or poking them with a nappy pin. Fabric Many people used to use the moist cloths that you just throw away after use. This means thousands of moist cloths per baby that land up in the bin or the toilet. Generally full of unhealthy chemicals, odours and irritating substances that soak into the skin. Enough of those! The Bambinex wash cloths are the safe, healthy and easy alternative. Because the cloths are designed from 2 different substances, this makes them super-versatile! The larger size (15x20cm) also makes them easier for dads to use. One side is made from a soft fleece layer that you can use to clean the face, hands or bottom. The other side consists of soft cotton towelling. Thanks to the many small loops, this side is ideal for use when the bottom is very dirty. Muslins have a surprising degree of absorbency, are also extremely slim line and very shape versatile. That's why we so frequently recommend them as a newborn nappy.

Reusable swim nappies are normally based on age and weight. Either with Velcro, Poppers or a pull on style. Most people start with the medium size in the Happy Nappy Swim system. What do I need to take my baby swimming? Wraps provides the waterproofing. The wrap is placed over the folded muslin nappy to keep the wetness inside. The Bambinex nappy bag is very handy for its simplicity. The bag can be used to store dirty nappies. Its large size means you can store around 10 to 12 dirty nappies in it. When the nappy bag has been full for a day or two, you'll know it's time to wash the nappies. You open the bag with the zip at the top and deposit the nappies straight into the washing machine. You can just throw the bag in alongside and wash them at 40°. It must not be dried in the tumble dryer, but this would not even be needed as you will be filling it with wet nappies again before too long…

The liners are made of paper so will eventually breakdown but at a much slower rate than toilet paper. We recommend you do not flush them and instead bin them or you can compost or recycle wet only liners. Sizing Swim pants need to keep the poo inside! If poo gets out of the swim nappy then the pool with become contaminated and will need to be closed while it is treated. Whether you use a disposable or a reusable swim nappy always use the layered system above. Private and a local pool usually insist on the layered swim nappies. Swim Nappy Sizes

Morag's Story - why I converted to fleece linersLet me tell you a bit about the event which converted me to fleece liners, having always been pretty sceptical when others raved about them: The bag is made from waterproof PUL (this is the same substance as our protective pants), making the bag waterproof and odour proof. You can fasten the handy loop at the top to your nappy table or to a doorknob with a push button. Besides the nappies, you can also store the washable liners, nappy covers, fleece liners, moist cloths or swim and training pants in it until they need to be washed. Most reusable swim nappies are designed to be worn on their own and, provided they are fitted correctly, they should be sufficient to keep any accidents contained while you get your child out of the water and to the toilet / baby changing facility. The 3 Parts of the Happy Nappy System:Some nappies are already fleece lined so you don't need to add a separate fleece liner. If your nappy isn't fleece lined then you can add the Bambinex Fleece Liners in as a separate liner. Inner wrap - Is a lovely soft adjustable wrap made of traditional swimwear material. This is your first layer baby wears to protect against leaks and holds the paper liner secure inside. The wrap IS NOT suitable for baby to wear on its own, most baby swimming schools insiston the use of this layer as well. You do not need to use a disposable nappy, this layer is sufficient. In terms of containment a reusable swim nappy will offer significantly higher protection against loose stools and poo leaks compared to disposables. Reusables have strong elastic and the very best are made of neoprene which is similar to wet suit material. Neoprene makes a secure snug fitting nappy. Splash About Happy Nappy is the neoprene swim nappy that many swimming pools and schools insist upon due to its superior performance. Fleece does need to be prewashed a couple of times, otherwise liquid runs off it rather than through it. Swimming nappies, swimwear, pool toys, buoyancy aids, swimming bag, swimming shampoo for afterwards. Don't forget a changing mat as well, much better than reusing the damp swimming towel.

Fleece liners are washed with your reusable nappies in the same wash cycle so don't need to be treated any differently.Bambines paper nappy liners are narrower than other nappy liners and fit beautifully even in slim nappies such as all in ones. Sadly the company that manufactures Ultra liners has gone into administration. This product is now unavailable. The alternative product which is incredibly similar are the Bambinex liners Muslins when used as newborn nappies give you enough absorbency for 2-2.5 hours. This is the recommended change frequency for a newborn regardless if they are using disposable nappies or reusable. Muslins absorbency perfectly matches this change frequency and ensures baby is kept to the correct change schedule for their age.
