About this deal

Great praise for Salamander as when I reported this to them they shipped a replacement pump out to me very promptly with no quibbles, and the replacement pump is excellent. Th hot water flow from the boiler to the house is vastly improved and I can now take a decent shower. A little care is needed now when opening sink taps as the flow increases steadily from its usually flow (pre-installation) to quite a significant flow that can splash a lot. Solidly built pump. LED flashing light is a useful feature. Works great. Noisier than I expected so best fitted in a cupboard. Also quite heavy so robust pipe mounting required. If your shower is more of a dribble or it takes ages to fill the bath, it’s likely you have a problem with low water pressure. At Pump Sales Direct, we offer a range of home booster pumps. Here we have carefully selected the top five on the market to help you solve your low pressure issues. 1. Stuart Turner Flomate Home Booster Pump

You need to work out whether you want to pump to the shower only or additional appliances, for example bath taps, the toilet cistern or washing machine. The CT Xtra twin range will pump the shower only, all other ranges are suitable for multiple household appliances. View our shower pump selector guide below for further information. Do you want to boost hot AND cold water or hot OR cold water? Hot AND cold waterSUITABLE FOR USE WITH BATHROOM, EN-SUITE, OR UTILITY ROOM: When selecting the right pump for your home, it is important to note that you can go up the range, but never down. For instance, a whole home pump (e.g. CTForce 30PT) can power a shower alone, but a shower only pump (e.g. CT50 Xtra) can NOT power a cistern, taps, whole house etc. The CT60 Bathroom pump is compatible with a whole bathroom, such as a shower, bath, cistern, wash basin, and tap, to boost both hot and cold water. These pumps require 15mm or 22mm isolation pump connections, along with an outlet flat washer and inlet filter washer.( Fittings kit available separately.) 4. Connect the pump Begin your installation by unboxing the pump and reading the installation guide, this is key to avoiding common installation pitfalls. You can now begin to install the pump, here’s how to do it in eight steps…. 1. Turn off the mains Are you getting poor water flow and pressure into your property? Does your bath take ages to fill or your shower performs poorly?

HomeBoost recognises when pressure and flow are low and boosts incoming water performance automatically. HomeBoost is an intelligent inline mains booster pump. It will boost the incoming mains water supply to the whole house to 12 litres per minute. Most manufacturers focus on the functionality of the pump, but not what it’s like for people like you and me, to live with day in, day out. With the HomeBoost inline pump, you can enjoy improved water flow and a more efficient water system in your home. Comparison With other Mains Pressure Boosters When considering boosting your water flow, it’s important to compare the HomeBoost inline pump with other available options to make an informed decision. Here are some other options to consider: The pump should now be displaying a steady green light, indicating that the installation is complete. As part of The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (1999), incoming water supply can be pumped to achieve up to 12 litres per minute, hence that being the regulated maximum output of the Home Boost.

Do you experience poor water pressure or flow via your mains pressure fed heating system or combi boiler, then the HomeBoost from Salamander is the ideal low cost, compact key to help "Boost" your pressure. The Homeboost has undergone a makeover to fit in with the colour scheme of Salamander Pumps' new MainsBooster range(used to be green) and to show the robust brass body and brass connections that the product has.

If you live in an older property there’s a good chance you have a gravity fed system, renowned for poor pressure and flow. The HomeBoost inline pump is suitable for boosting flow to showers, baths, taps, cisterns, and washing machines throughout your home. It can be used directly or indirectly via a combi boiler. One of the unique features of this pump is its ability to detect when flow is poor and only boost flow when needed. GRAVITY FED SYSTEM: The RP75TU is only compatible with gravity fed systems, which means a system in which there is a hot water cylinder in an airing cupboard and a large cold water tank in the loft. It is important to choose a pump that is compatible with the system in your home, as incorrect selection can mean the pump will not work. In conclusion, the Salamander HomeBoost Inline Pump is a smart and reliable solution for low water pressure in your home. Its intelligent design detects and boosts flow only when needed, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Below is a guide to determine what pressure/bar pump you’ll need to boost the water in your home. Once confirmed you can then select which pump range you prefer:

The HomeBoost pump is designed to be fitted directly onto the incoming mains water line in mains-fed systems, making installation a breeze. This intelligent pump enhances water flow in mains-fed systems, such as combi boilers. It’s important to choose a pump that’s compatible with your system to ensure it works effectively. Choose a pumped model when mains water pressure and/or flow are low – or when you are not sure on your mains water pressure/flow. Choose unpumped only when flow is more than 9 l/min and pressure is 2.0 bar. Adios to ridiculously slow filling baths, showers that are little more than a spray, and a whole host of combi boiler problems! It offers 3 bar pressure, is suitable for use with combi boilers and is fully compliant with UK water regulations. These systems are identified by a wall hung boiler and metal-clad hot water storage tanks and no cold water storage.
