It is triggered by the r/fog light switch grounding a power transistor inside the MFU. The MFU is the red box behind the interior fuse panel. All relevant wires into the MFU indicate as expected, but no 12v out. The fog light switch is sound (same as a substitute in fact). I get the same problem and readings with a secondhand MFU.
