About this deal

If there is a reason why you are not driving now, ie vision problems, dizziness, loss of movement, surgery , lasting disability, medication, insurance, then whilst these threads may share some experiences that may help you, it is important you defer to your treating Medical Team, and then your Driving Authority, for their assessment of your driving capability. I felt that to end it any other way, I felt that would be spoon-feeding the audience something that I wasn't interested in spoon-feeding them. I think the movie's about something as massive and as mysterious as life and death. I think it's like, you have to decide for you: Is it a movie about a man living and dying or is it a movie about a man fighting a wolf? Because I think it is incidental, at least in my mind, compared to the great questions that it creates in the end. Over time, it will get better to some extent - as did mine - but as Tina says it is still very early in recovery stages. Good things to be doing for him will be to make notes of anything he needs to remember, keep a diary, keep on repeating things until they become long term memories. Once you transfer the memory into the 'other box' he stands a better chance of remembering. When I eventually made my first car journey, I had to drive with the air conditioning blasting on my face; I needed to feel the cold, needed to feel awake. It felt so very weird and also very scary. Even my feet didn't feel as though they were part of my body. I seemed to over emphasise every movement that before the SAH, would have been so normal. I just didn't feel in control, it wasn't me in this body that I had returned home with. Remember when a relatives kids are growing up? if you are with them every day you don't notice much, but if you haven't seen them for six months you say 'My word look how much you've grown!' Well, it's a bit like that with this recovery lark!

a b Robinson, Jessica (January 26, 2012). "Groups boycott 'The Grey' with Liam Neeson for portrayal of wolves". KPLU-FM. Archived from the original on August 30, 2012 . Retrieved January 29, 2012. Don't watch over your husband preparing meals, if people ask if you're OK then answer them truthfully - its the only way they'll begin to understand what you're going through.I haven't got any better advice for you. I personally have had many problems with working post SAH and can only say that sometimes we need to adjust our expectations in the way of salary etc. Unfortunate, but your health and well being are more important so if at all possible put them first.

I really want to say a huge THANK YOU once again to our lovely Karen for having the forsight to set up this wonderful support group, I can honestly say it has saved my life, literally, having somewhere to come and off load, where we all know how each other are feeling and have great empathy and respect for one another, always makes me feel like I have had a giant hug when I am feeling low. I wish you the best in your recovery ~ it is up and down at times but you will see progress as Tina said. There will be residual challenges and the acceptance of a “new normal” but life is a gift and there are rewards to perseverance. Give yourself more grace on hard days. I have been given different opinions on this matter. The first was "that one should not fly" for at least 6 months’, the second "that it was fine to fly" and the third "that it was my choice and be it on my own head"! I have flown 6 times in the past year. The first time 2 weeks after my SAH, with no adverse effects so I think its fine and how soon after the SAH depends on how the individual feels.Advice of a strictly medical nature should only be given by a medical professional. Whilst it is acceptable to mention any drugs that you take, or your treatment and your experiences of them, they should not be recommended to other users; this also includes herbal remedies, as many have side effects and can interact with prescribed medicines. I've had to up my dose of nerve meds (the doctor prescribed me some Pregabalin) so I am just adjusting to a slightly higher dose of that, it really has numbed my unmanageable nerve pain I was experiencing. The pain is still clearly there but it's like the meds have wrapped cotton wool round my nerves. Still napping a lot and unable to even go for a short walk along the road without total exhaustion, am getting very bored! Am trying to really hydrate more than I normally do too as everyone is suggesting on this forum. Turn right, and at the far end of the first table on your left, you’ll find anti-regen ammo (RAMRODs). On the table with the computers, you’ll find an image to examine next to a laptop. There are two more images to examine on a whiteboard to the left of the computer desk.
