I love Khamrah, but it gets annoying after a while; opens so nice but eventually gets too powdery and feminine on my skin. I can see why this gives some people BR540 vibes because it shares that same antiseptic, hospital vibe. I’ve no desire to wear this and I’m not sure I’d like it on my husband either! Thankfully it was a cheapy so not a huge loss, but I’m a bit sad that it’s so often compared to by the fireplace because I think that’s misleading. Synthetic Oudh (with these prices it is faux Agarwood, even in Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Oud Perfumes it's fake according to Oudh pro's), can come across as rubbery, more specific: burnt rubber, as petrol like, musty moldy hay, or even - which is closer to the indolic Indian real deal - quite animalic. That's a euphemism for a dirty barn or actual excrement. Yes, poo.

I sprayed it on my hand and after about an hour, and washing my hands, the scent really smoothed out and a lot of the harsh incense smell went away and it took on a creamy smell very similar to Dolce & Gabbana The One. This fragrance is making me hungry. 🤤 I'm glad I got two bottles of this. One I'm reviewing is a November 2022 batch. The other is from March 2023 and I hope it won't smell different. I actually don't mind the sweetness of it, it goes a certain cool direction, but loses me at the medicinal, air freshener woodiness. Just got it today. Smoky powdery. The campfire,smores type scent. Didn't like it at first blast..in fact, for a moment I thought I smelled a cumin type smell. Armpitty,lol..thank God it went away pretty fast..anyway, enjoying it now. Just had to get my nose adjusted. After it had dried down a while, and finished evolving, I was left with something.. Wasn't sure where I had smelled it before. But some note I get in my old Tresor Midnight Rose. Going to have a bath before bed and spray it all over myself and sleep in this smoky,campfire cloud. I'll update my review if anything changes or develops further. Versatility: 7.0 (yes to enjoy it on your own, clubbing, socializing, events, restaurants, dates, romancing, intimacy, weaddings,... not good for the office, informal meetings, small spaces, work out, beach and places where you may sweat)

To start off I want to go ahead and mention that Ameer Al Oudh smells nothing similar to 24 Gold of Scentstory. It's Ameer's sister Raghba which is the one who smells similar to 24 Gold.

I've been wearing it every day for a week straight after I got it. And I know it's spring and I hoarded a buncha spring perfumes to specifically wear IN SPRING... but I'm too addicted to this one :') So to me, this is very sexy I think it reminds me of by the fire place it’s a warm fragrance and would do fantastically in the winter or even autumn the dry down is absolutely stunning. It reminds me of a brown sugar melted in a pan. I get almost an alcoholic cognac type of note in here Anyway, to my conclusion- ish: if you like a smoky wood type fragrance and have good experiences with Oudh I can definitely recommend Ameer Al Oudh Intense oud. I have yet to see another cheapie with such beastmode performance. I do think you will need to look for a decant or sample first because it isn't a safe blind buy. Now, when *I* say a fragrance lasts into eternity that's definitely of note. As a rule perfumes never last long on my skin. 30 minutes isn't an exception. When I pass a 3hr mark that's cause for celebration. My skin is of the very dry, perfume eating variety that loves to boost woody, leathery, earthy, spicy and citrusy notes and prefers to ignore sweet, fruity, floral etc (no mature perfume is ever too sweet on me). I love an oriental frag on a hot summer day, i don't mind the warmth of them at all, so I would consider this to be an all year round fragrance. I had a 10ml decant of this for testing as for me MM fragrances are always hit or miss, I love some, I dislike others, none of them are in the middle.
