About this deal

Connor Cobalt: he’s charming and hilarious without even trying. Connor is not afraid to say anything, he’s very blunt, and that makes him such an entertaining character. i was literally laughing out loud reading his scenes. i love him! I dislike you. You show up at people's houses unannounced and that is just straight-up crappy. Plus you're just kind of mean for no reason. I started to like you more towards the end, but for the majority of the book, I was not a fan.

One night when Lily goes home with Connor to continue studying she can't find Loren. She calls him repeatedly to no avail and goes to a highlighter party with Connor to try find him. They don't find him there but they do run into Kevin, her one-night-stand from the beginning of the book. He heavily implies that she and Connor are having sex instead of tutoring. Rose accepts to have her life filmed in a reality show. Rose and 5 of her friends Lily, Lo, Ryke, Daisy, and Connor will be staying together for six months. During this period, three cameramen will follow them everywhere day and night to document their lives, and their personal lives will be shared with the world. Rose sees this as a perfect opportunity to revive her dying fashion line. Things get confusing when one of the producers takes a liking for Rose. The producer wants so bad to sleep with her.Lo and Lily are both addicts. Lo is a somewhat functioning alcoholic while Lily is a sex addict, and both of their addictions are severeeee. they’re also very rich kids yet i wouldn’t at all call them spoiled because they don’t let their money change their personalities. both of their characters were likeable in my opinion (frustrating at times, but still i have a soft spot for them). without spoiling anything, overall this novel takes you on a journey of two characters trying to navigate their messy lives when it comes to not only romance but addiction, college, friendship, family, and life in general. you will also come across a good amount of other characters that you can form your opinions on! this book offered so much! The way the emotions were running high and getting all intense towards the end is why I’m already looking forward to the whole series. That should tell you enough. Family and strangers are suspicious about their relationship, and as the couple works to overcome these challenges, they realize that they are also addicted to each other. The journey to recovery starts when Lily and Loren’s purpose of helping each other overcome their flaws. While it is easy to tell that the couple will encounter more challenges if they choose to stay together, it is adorable that they’re dedicated to helping each other. I love you, but I want to love you enough that I never choose alcohol over you. Not even for a moment. I want to be someone you deserve. Who helps you rather than enables you, and I can’t begin to do that until I get help for myself.” They were oddly perfect for each other. They each understood the deep seeded addiction the other suffered. They'd seen each other at their worst and the way they cared for each other (and I'm not even talking romantically, I just mean caring from one person to another) was just so incredible heart wrenching.... I mean, HOLY EMOTION!!!!

He kisses my forehead before I can form thoughts, and when he pulls away, his lips brush my ear. “I’m here for you. Always " again, it's really hard to like or even relate to the main characters and root for their relationship because they both enabled each other's addictions and there's also not much depth to the characters as they were all about their vices so that's why i couldn't connect with them ( side note: i only think this way the first time i read this but i've read almost half of the addicted/calloway series and lemme tell y'all,,, lili and lo?? I'LL DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT THESE TWO FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. imma keep my original thoughts here because not only did lily and lo had a character development but i did as well when it comes to my feeling between these two). Our lives intersect at every possible junction, and separating sounds like a fatal, irreparable cut.' no for real bishh don't read this. you read the blurb - h being a sex addict and H being an alcoholic. this will just stress you the f out. you have TWO midterms this week, sit your ass down and Don't You. Dare. read this or i-" Well, this was certainly different! I've had this book sitting on my shelf for a long time. Finally, I got a chance to listen to it. I'm not quite sure what I expected, but this wasn't it. That isn't necessarily bad though. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this story.Welcome to Shh... [Smut, Heroes & HEAs], a reader group dedicated to contemporary Romance & Erotica. holy shit I hate lo so much “oooh I have an addiction” ok… see if I give a shit. like so do so many people and they don’t become toxic as shit to their best friends and family I need lo gone I need him dead I would have loved this series if not for him (and the weird age gap) all in all, this is a good book. not something that i’d call a masterpiece (and that’s why i’m not giving it five stars) but it’s good. and even though i said i enjoyed it more in my second read, it still is least favorite in the series. i noticed that a lot of people don’t like this one and for that reason they decide to not read the others, but i would definitely recommended to not stop and continue. the next ones are so much better and far more interesting, y’all won’t regret. the whole series in general is really awesome.

Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment. If not why did I get that impression? Not sure why- I'm sorry if I got the wrong impression because I'm sure this is not a romance book. Six years of miscommunication. One of us could have opened up. Instead we let the tension build between us, growing a lie.”Ryke keeps confronting Lily about Loren's dependence on alcohol and because of that Lily and Ryke don't get along. later on, they confess their feelings and decide that their relationship won’t be fake anymore — but still, just because they are in a real relationship now, doesn’t mean that everything will be fixed. in fact, their dynamic gets even messier for multiple reasons. Lily and Lo love each other and they do want to be together, but neither of them is willing to overcome their addictions for each other and their relationship can’t progress if they don’t seek help. they are obviously unhealthy to themselves and that obviously makes them unhealthy for one another too. Lily was a paradoxical character but lovable, nonetheless. The contrast between her shy and reserved personality but brazen love for sex —in all its aspects— was an interesting part of the storyline. Were her actions morally okay ? No. Did she treat well her family and Lo, in general? Also no.

lily breaks my heart and lo was so mean sometimes but it's ok cus he's my baby n i love him so i excuse it. Addicted to You is a story that is just that- addictive. I can’t imagine finishing this book and not needing to dive right into the next. I can’t believe that I’ve waited this long to read this series, but I’m kind of glad I did. I can binge read them all now. :D As they sink beneath the weight of their addictions, they cling harder to their destructive relationship and wonder if a life together, for real, is better than a lie. Strangers and family begin to infiltrate their guarded lives, and with new challenges, they realize they may not just be addicted to alcohol and sex. Their real vice might be each other. I’m glad lo thought of himself by going to rehab. Selfish or not he still feared for Lilly and that makes me melt a little more for him. i am simply not the same after reading this book. my brain chemistry has been altered. it’s the way that this series is far from over too like what am i supposed to do with myself after i finish the entire series? someone pls tell me in advance😫

She repeatedly questions her way of being and her actions even though she doesn’t stop. It was impossible not to feel for her character esp bc she tries to not give in to her urges and even more with lo in making things work.
