The mamaRoo4 has built-in Bluetooth that allows parents to control the seat’s movement with an app. It has four different built-in soothing sounds but also has MP3 option. The seat is adjustable from sitting up to recline. All the fabrics are machine washable and come in three options. It has a mobile on top that has a rattle, mirror, and crinkle ball. Size and weight The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends babies shouldn't be in a swing more than 30 minutes at a time. If your baby falls asleep in the mamaRoo infant seat we recommend moving the baby to a separate approved sleep surface, such as a crib, playard or bassinet.

Before the mamaroo I had tried swings and manual bouncers and nothing worked. This was my last ditch effort and I was hesitant because of the price. It is worth it if you have a screamer like I do that needs to be held constantly. Since I have gotten the mamaroo I have had way more time for everything. I’m so excited!!! The one thing I was concerned about was the bouncing motion. Before I got the mamaroo I was bouncing my infant on a yoga ball. He loved that julty movement. I was concerned that the mamaroo wouldn’t be enough of a bounce for him. Remove the mobile from your MamaRoo by turning it 90 degrees to the left or right and gently pulling it upwards to remove it

While our parent tester Luci would have expected more luxurious fabrics and a newborn insert included for the price, she found the range of motions and sounds to be very impressive. We think this bouncer would be particularly beneficial for parents who’s baby struggles to be put down, as this would allow some much-needed hands-free time. Without the newborn insert, there is no additional head support which can make positioning for a younger baby a little more challenging. While she reported that her then 11-week-old fitted comfortably in the swing, Luci felt her baby’s feet would be over the end way before the expected six-month mark recommended by the brand.
