About this deal

These types of steriliser use UVC rays. They typically come as boxes with reflective surfaces inside, which allow the UV light to cover all surface areas on the objects where you put it. As with other sterilisers, it's crucial to wash your bottles and teats in warm, soapy water before placing them in. This is because any dirt left on the bottles and teats will make the UVC rays less effective. The World Health Organization recommends that all babies are exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months of their life, and from 6 months babies should start eating solid foods as well as being breastfed for up to 2 years or longer. Gustavo Hildenbrand, General Manager UK & Ireland, Danone Specialized Nutrition, said: “We hope bringing to market formula milk in a pre-measured tab format will offer added convenience and support for formula feeding parents – especially in the ‘new normal’, when parents are often stretched and trying to juggle balancing family and work-life from home.” Water: Boil 1 litre of freshly run water in a kettle then leave to cool for 30 minutes and no more so the water can reach the recommended temperature of 70°C. When ready, pour the right amount of water into a sterilised beaker, as per the feeding guide. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.

Disposable baby bottles These aren't so much disposable bottles as disposable sterilised bags that fit into a bottle. They can be convenient for use when you're on the go. Sterilisation usually takes around 15 minutes, but bottles also need to be rinsed in recently boiled water before use to completely get rid of the chemical solution.

Also, if your baby has a dummy in between feeds, this may reduce how frequently your baby wants to feed – if your baby is feeding less often, you'll produce less milk. As formula isn't sterile, it’s recommended that you make it as your baby needs it, using water that's at least 70ºC, and to use it within two hours. We use medicines to make our children better, but sometimes they have other effects that we don’t want (side-effects). We are devoted to providing you & your baby our very best. We do not produce for any supermarket own-label brands. A midwife, health visitor or a breastfeeding specialist can help you with positioning your baby and getting them properly attached. Not enough breast milk Pros: Nothing to heat up so no chance of painful accidents, no need for electricity or a microwave so you can use it anywhere. Breastfeeding still has lots of benefits for you and your baby after 6 months. It protects them from infections and there's some evidence that it helps with the digestion of your baby's first solid foods. It also continues to provide the balance of nutrients your baby needs.
