About this deal

Toshiba’s UK QF5D Series is its most interesting, most premium line of TV that brings QLED technology to the table for the first time for Toshiba UK TVs. These TVs come in a variety of sizes, support 4K, smarts courtesy of Toshiba’s own OS, and a range of HDR and audio technologies. And for Toshiba’s most expensive UK TV, it’s not much more expensive than the UF3D. The use of direct LED lighting, where the LEDs sit right behind the screen rather than around the edges, joins the extensive HDR support in boding well for the 50UK3163DB’s picture quality, as this approach typically yields better contrast than lighting systems that use LEDs ranged around the picture’s edges. With sharp 4K resolution improved by Wide Colour Gamut, which gives you more colours for a more lifelike picture, our collection of Premium 4K TVs gives you the ideal cinematic experience. This collection delivers you the greatest immersive viewing experience possible, flawlessly blending Dolby Audio Processing, subwoofer, and our most potent integrated speakers created by Onkyo into a gorgeous centre piece for your living room. The picture quality of the Toshiba UF3D is exceptional. The television delivers stunning and lifelike images with its 4K Ultra HD display and HDR technology. The colors are bright and vivid, and the sharp contrast makes even the smallest details visible.

I’ve seen some contradictory specifications for this TV out there at different retailers, but be assured that we’ve got the correct details, direct from Toshiba, all in this review. Design The LK3C Series is Toshiba UK’s most basic line of 2023 TV. It comes in two sizes, 32-inch and 43-inch, and is a 1080p HD line, not a 4K one. It does come with smarts courtesy of Toshiba itself with its own OS that’ll let you stream whatever content you’d like across a plethora of different services. Plus, you can even watch TikToks on your LK3C TV. Gaming controller: If you plan on using your television for gaming, a gaming controller can provide a more comfortable and enjoyable gaming experience.

The Toshiba UF3D has a built-in speaker system that delivers clear and crisp sound. The speakers are located at the bottom of the television, which ensures that the sound is directed toward the viewer. However, for those who want an even more immersive audio experience, the television has a digital optical output that can connect to a soundbar or other external speaker system. Smart Features

Toshiba hasn’t gone for the full HDR sweep by also including support for the HDR10+ system that Samsung TVs favour over Dolby Vision. Providing Dolby Vision on top of the more routine HDR10 and HLG HDR formats is still a compelling proposition, though. This is the first time Toshiba has shipped screens with the Fire TV OS in the UK, offering an upgrade from the Toshiba Smart Portal.Going the whole Dolby hog by also bringing Atmos sound on board merely underlines the feeling that Toshiba is willing to go the extra mile even with a TV as affordable as the 50UK3163DB to give customers an experience it likely couldn’t muster without ‘third party’ help. Rather than just ‘buying in’ a third-party smart system from the likes of Google, Roku or LG, the 50UK3163DB unexpectedly deploys a smart system of Toshiba’s own design. Even more surprisingly, this system really isn’t bad. Its presentation is compact but effective, for the most part tidily fitting its content links and apps into a couple of ‘shelves’ superimposed over the bottom few inches of the picture. The Toshiba UF3D is available in a range of sizes, from 43 to 65 inches, making it suitable for viewing environments. The 50-inch model is popular, providing a large viewing area without being too bulky or expensive. Users can choose the size that best fits their viewing environment and budget. 4K Resolution The Toshiba UF3D comes with a range of accessories. These include the remote control, batteries, power cable, and user manual. Additionally, the television comes with a stand that can be easily attached to the television. Users can also choose to mount the television on the wall using a VESA-compatible wall mount. Dolby Atmos in the cinema and get that same Dolby Atmos experience in the home like no other sound solution. TRU Picture Technology provides smooth, upscaled and more detailed viewing whatever you’re watching. The Toshiba UF3D has a wide viewing angle, which ensures that the picture quality remains consistent no matter where you are sitting. This is especially important for larger living spaces where viewers may be seated at different angles. Picture Settings The 50UK3163DB isn’t just unexpectedly bold with HDR, either. It also gets impressive value from its native 4K resolution. Good-quality native 4K sources, especially 4K Blu-rays, look much richer in texture, clarity and depth than HD images do, despite the 50-inch screen being fairly small by today’s 4K standards. This is a modern set with competitive features for the budget side of the TV market in 2023, more so than the V35 Series at any rate, so if you’re looking for a set you can use to stream all the 4K/HDR content you can imagine without spending an arm and a leg, the C350 Series from Toshiba can get you there.

The Toshiba UF3D features HDR technology, which provides a wider range of colors and increased contrast, resulting in more lifelike images. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and is a technology that allows for a higher level of brightness and contrast. This technology is ideal for those who enjoy watching movies and TV shows with vibrant colors and rich details. OLED Technology The Toshiba UF3D comes with a standard remote control, but several accessories can enhance your viewing experience. These accessories include:If ‘Device connected’ message is displayed, then the pairing was successful. If the connection fails, retry. I have few big complaints about the picture, other than that the processor used here generally favors foreground objects, and this means live-action scenes often look like they’re against a green screen, with actors looking a little detached from their surroundings. If you don’t watch any content in resolutions higher than 1080p HD, the LK3C can definitely get the job done, and it will have no trouble letting you stream whatever content you’d like, but for the price, you can usually find better kit. Toshiba’s trademark LED indicator is also on full show here – with a bright ring that’s a little more prominent, if not obtrusive, than you’d expect. It can be a bit of an eyesore, whether the TV is turned off (red) or on (green). Features
