If you are transitioning from YuMOVE Dog to YuMOVE PLUS for Dogs, do you need to do the loading amount for 4-6 weeks again?

Most products show results in as little as 4 weeks, but please allow 6 weeks to see the full benefits. The omega-3s in most maintenance diets are not high enough to treat disease states. If an arthritic dog is eating a maintenance diet formulated with omega-3s, it is suggested that you will need to administer an omega-3 supplement on top of that to attain therapeutic levels. Simply twist the capsules and sprinkle the contents onto their food daily. For an average 4-5kg cat, use 1 capsule per day. For older or stiff cats, use 2 capsules per day for the first 4-6 weeks.

One of the more common side effects of fish oil for dogs, particularly in higher doses, is diarrhea – although it’s still a fairly rare symptom. Occasionally, dogs can also suffer from vomiting, delayed wound healing, sleepiness, or itchiness. If you’re worried at all, speak to your veterinarian right away and hold off giving your pup any more fish oil. How much fish oil should I give my dog?
