Sustainable and Ethical Practises: Marley Monsters is a family-owned brand. It’s certified as an environmentally conscious business and committed to commercial composting. All of this company's products come from certified organic cotton and/or 100% recycled fibers. But then I got to thinking, what if you don’t have any dishcloths handy already (or you only have a couple) to make the switch easier. And that’s how these DIY reusable paper towels came about.

According to the EPA, America’s combined totals for all “tissue” waste (including sustainable tissues, paper towels, and toilet paper) amounted to a whopping 7.4 billion pounds. The first is eliminating the use of single-use items whenever possible is better for the environment. And yes, that includes paper towels. And one of the key reasons why it was so easy was because we already had what we needed to get started: dishcloths, and lots of them. If cared for properly (washed and hung to air dry), you can continue using these reusable towels for cleaning for 6-12 months or 200 washes.
