I have to admit, throughout most of it, I just couldn't see how Ramsower was going to get them out of the danger they faced. I could honestly see no way out without severe repercussions to all. But trust Ramsower to give you those twists that, in the end, make perfect sense.

Rowan gets herself in a bit of trouble and reaches out to Keir for help. Cue the possessive, alpha bad boy and you have the rest of the story. It's a good one that gets you to a HEA. Both characters bring baggage into their relationship, but Rowan's is extensive. Her baggage is the reason she's in trouble and her growth pushes the story forward. Despite not knowing each other well, Keir jumps in the save her and ultimately begins the process of helping her heal. Mafia romances are usually centered around the mmc. Keir gave Rowan the stage. She was his and the plot’s main focus and she was intriguing enough to keep the interest throughout the book. I struggled a bit with Ro’s inner monologues at the beginning but I learned to like them and in the end, I fully loved them. Copy received from The Next Step PR. Even when she liked keir and started to have feelings for him. She didn’t gave herself easily until he proved himself. Love Jill Ramsower books; she never disappoints. This book is no different. Love the story and the characters. This follows Noemi and Connor. Noemi has been promised to the Irish Mafia family. But something is just not right.I knew exactly what I was getting into from our very first conversation. Maybe not the specifics, but I knew nothing with you would be dull or ordinary. I chose that-chose you and I'd do it again in heartbeat” She did it in book 1 hyping me up for kier and now she’s doing this for Torin and I’m sooo exited for his book!!! 🤭 Keir and Rowan’s story completely blew my mind. The emotional punch it dealt with me was unexpected. This story could stand completely on its own (apart from the series) but yet it also enhanced the overall storyline arc of the Byrne Brothers. I was engaged and invested from the very beginning by Michelle Sparks & Gabriel Spiers’ narration. It was a first for me for both these narrators and I’m really glad they worked well together to make my listening experience fantastic! Keir is a complete alphahole but in the best way possible. His brooding demeanor and touch her and die vibes are everything I love in a protective hero. The way he supports Rowan and never gives up on her is simply swoon-worthy. His understanding and connection to Rowen is what makes romance so amazing. Ps. Rowan is not mentally stable. She even talk to herself as if her twin sister lives in her head.)Curse and Craving” is the first novel in the “Of Myth and Man” series and was released in 2022. Rebecca’s new job landed her in this new country, however it may as well have been a whole different world. There’s this underground world of secrets and magic ruthlessly guarded by this elite group of Fae warriors. This place has brought out a power buried deep inside of Rebecca. A monstrous and dark power. She’s got no choice but to turn to the Fae for their help. I find I get to a certain point in a book and become ready for it to end, but with Silent Vows, it could have went on and on...and I would have gladly kept reading!" -Amity, Netgalley Her father spends the next 6 months threatening her to keep her mouth shut or he would harm her and her younger brother. Who btw was absolutely clueless the entire book and was blinded by his idolization of his father. I felt like Noemi coddled him even though he was 17! He was not a child but acted like one a lot of the times and just in the end started growing more aware of the truth but didn't really buy it until it hit him in the face.
