This Grout ink formula is water based and covers over stained areas that are caused by everyday mould and dirt build up on grout between tiles. You need to pump the nib on a flat surface downwards as the marker pen is valve operated and the ink will flow down through the nib. I had been meaning to try a grout pen for ages, in fact I bought one (via Rainbow chalk) and it sat unused on my desk for ages – partly out of nervousness but mostly out of lack of time.
