About this deal

Zig Ziglar is a talented author and speaker who, since 1970, has traveled over five million miles delivering his message of hope and enthusiasm. It gives a light-hearted, gently thought-provoking account of the bigger journey of working out how to live. Smiley and his people are facing a remarkable challenge: a mole - a soviet double agent - who has burrowed his way in and up to the highest level of British Intelligence. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The more time we spend together observing each other and learning our little habits, the more fulfilled our conversations become.

He has written twenty-three celebrated books on personal growth, leadership, sales, faith, family, and success. The guru of motivation, Zig also offers corporate training programs and sales training seminars for employee development and motivation. Each chapter represents a short story/snippet in the life between human and dog, ranging from the mind of the dog getting obsessed with balls, the importance of the "pack hierarchy at home" (between alpha, partner and potential other pets), less appetising stories around the calculus around the usage dog-waste-bags, but maybe most importantly about the deep bond humans and dogs develop over the shared time, there is surely a story/anecdote any dog owner can easily connect/empathise with (with a big smile on the lips at the same time).

When the author found herself confronted with challenges, she discovered, to her surprise, that wisdom came not from a philosophical master or spiritual guide, but her puppy named Monty. Over the years Taffy has been a part of the Ziglar family—including some really painful years of mourning. Their discussions about health, happiness, faith, and the nature of dogs and how to improve relationships - including the one Dirty Dog has with his 'Dad' - make this not only an enjoyable read, but one that will leave you with much to consider. Dirty Dog (Zig’s affectionate nickname for Taffy) and Dad have talked about many facets of life—from faith to health to relationships. He reads my emotions like a trained psychologist and interprets any gestures with an expert precision.

He may not speak human, but he surely compensates that minor inability with his facial expressions and certain sounds. If you've got a dog, or a cat for that matter--and millions of us do--you probably talk to your critter now and again. As the title says a very funny and touching book about the conversations between the author and his dog (one can very easily imagine to have similar conversations with the own dog). This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees.
