Je trouve qu’on dénonce un petit peu le harcèlement scolaire surtout au début de l’histoire car cherry se fait souvent moquée (méchamment) par kristy, la fille populaire de l’école qui se moque des personnes “inférieures” à elle avec sa bande de copines qui la suivent comme des moutons. Charlotte has four daughters; Honey, Sky and Summer (who are twins but nothing like each other) and Coco.A step-family is never easy; Cherry has always felt different with her straight dark hair and olive skin.

Loss, truth and acceptance play a big part in Cherry's story, but there's so much more waiting for you within these pages.She addresses themes highly relevant to them, enfranchising them to work through their own traumas alongside her characters. Soon Cherry learns that the girls have already sensed she is lying and that they liked her better when she was the real Cherry instead of Cherry the liar. And her new family comes ready-made with the 4 Tanberry sisters, but best 3/4 because Honey, the oldest sister, is only interested in trying to see her estranged father. It was because she was afraid her new sisters wouldn't like her; She tried and even though it probably wasn't the best way to blend in, I admire her for trying because not mnay people ven bother to do that. I never did finish The Chocolate Box Girls though, and now I think it's finally time to go back and binge-read the series.

My favorite character is Coco because of her sweet and adventurous character and her love for all things outdoor.Fatalement, c'est très jeunesse mais c'est normal, et même si je ne suis pas la cible, j'ai trouvé l'histoire touchante et entraînante.
