About this deal

I have worn Bose Frames nearly everywhere, and I can say that you don't need to crank the volume to get a good listening experience. Or, if you're like me, you can add in some blue-blocking clear lenses that could help mitigate eye fatigue after spending too many hours at your desk. Yes, it’s weird for people to watch you speaking into thin air while walking, but it’s something we’ll take in our stride.

Serial number location Serial numbers contain important information about your product, including model number and DOM (Date of Manufacture). The Bose Frames Tempo also benefit from IPX4 rating, making them water- and sweat-resistant, while the Tenor and Soprano only have an IPX2 rating. Keep in mind that this isn't a product to replace a standard pair of headphones, and that’s fine – that isn’t what Bose set out to do.Touch controls are available for volume adjustment – again, on the right arm – with swipes forward and backward allowing you to decrease and increase volume respectively. It’s a jaw-dropping experience that leaves you free to engage with the world around you, all while discreetly listening to music. Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable).

Connecting by Bluetooth with your smart device they play music for a personal and immersive audio experience. When listening to music and audiobooks, the multi-function button allows for play (single press), pause (single press), track forwards (double press) and track backwards (triple press). The only thing we’ll keep in mind is that these aren’t meant to be worn when the weather isn’t sunny, or if you’re indoors – that’s just plain silly. Two new luxe silhouettes flaunt polarized lenses and premium craftsmanship, while exclusive Bose Open Ear Audio™ technology produces sound you’d never expect from sunglasses. This revolutionary open-ear audio experience leaves you free to do whatever you need, all while discreetly listening to music. But the build feels less premium than the two everyday sunnies and the arms are so thick, they don't quite fit everyone. While the second-generation Bose Frames do improve upon a few things such as finally adding volume control and better sound quality, their overall fit and niche appeal make them hard to recommend. I own an original pair of Bose Frames, and I'll be the first to say that I was surprised by how good they sound.

There’s also considerable audio leakage at volume levels higher than 60%, so if you’re sitting near someone, they’ll be able to hear tinny sounds emanating from your sunglasses and, unfortunately, you'll need them at full volume to enjoy them over the sounds of public transport. The Tempo fit can be adjusted by swapping out the nose clamps, but finding the right fit isn't easy. This means that once your Frames are out of battery, you'll need to scramble to find a way to plug them in. This feature was not available in the previous generation of Bose Frames and is a welcome addition this time round.
