NOT FOR CARS WITH ORIGINAL SAT-NAVComplete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a double DIN aftermarket radio in a Honda Civic 2006 onwards with right hand drive. This is complete kit including Fascia Trim Panel, Steering Wheel Control Stalk Adaptor, Reverse Camera Retention Interface and Antenna AdaptorPackage IncludesDouble Din Fascia Pan. I think it's one of the best mods so far, having Android Auto and makes the interior a much nicer place to be in. But this was a temp install, I need to wire the cable through the harness in the boot lid like factory and splice and solder the joints and may drill a hole and use a cable grommet.
Plastic removal tools are really handy for the trims, there are sets for around 20€ (purchased mine when had boot leaking issue). e. fascia panels Wiring Harness adaptors, Steering Wheel Control Stalk interfaces, Aerial adaptors etc.I had a Kenwood 8140 that had the adjustable angle face, and during the day time, there was only one setting that was "liveable" but just don't watch anything really dark during the day. Supplied plastic fascia isn't the best, it's thinner than original and when unit is assembled, appears very flimsy/wobbly.

Connects2 has great support service, they are really fast and responsive and their very first suggestion worked. I just fitted the dynamic sounds kit and no problems at all, just needs abit if the left dash trimming .

When connecting cables, patch lead (one with the steering controls) goes into the black box first, then the other end of this cable to the stereo. Have a look at this thread, some double dins with facias, poor colour match and makes the head unit stick out from the dash in my opinion.
Patch Lead connects a compatible car stereo with a joystick input (blue line-in mini-jack) or wire input on the back of the unit to the existing stalk/steering wheel controls of the vehicle. The AC screen fades randomly on mine but always comes back on again after awhile, it's also very dim but that might just be due to the unit being old. I wired this into reverse light, so when it goes into reverse it powers up the camera and on the other end triggers the HU to go into display mode. Not to threadjack, but I was in a bad mood last year and punched it out because the b***h kept giving me bad directions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case "modification" is necessary.

There's plenty of talk about the OEM speakers being rubbish but it seemed to be more the standard head unit rather than speaker quality. I almost bought the pioneer in questions, there was one thing spec wise that the Kenwood had better and I can't rember what it was. WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals which is known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. I don't, but thats probably because I was anal and spent a whole evening with files, x-acto knives, etc.it slams, im just asking basic question to those with doubledin head units, does it sit flush or close to or is it set deep in. For the left hand drive, and for whatever reason, the Connects2 kit was almost 2x more expensive everywhere I checked. If you had a camera always powered the pioneer can display it anytime through the menu, as well as a front camera. The edges are more rounded instead of the step that is left when you remove the single din and pocket.
