My dearest self with malice aforethought stands out with its captivating storyline, much like any good crime narrative. A woman gets murdered in what seems like a copycat case of the serial killer’s modus operandi, and the protagonist finds himself in possession of that woman’s cut-off ear. So as I said at the beginning, if you are new to the genre I can recommend it, but if you are looking for something new this is not the manga you are looking for. It starts up really quickly it's about Urashima Eiji an ordinary student who went out drinking and then, woke up with a girlfriend and no recollection of what happened. In any case, the guy is happy enough to let this sudden girlfriend of his believe that she’s dating the other version of himself.

One day, Eiji wakes up with no memory of the past few days, with a new girlfriend, newfound respect from the college bully, a bag of cash and a bloodied and broken bat secretly stashed away in his room, and the news of a murder that is very similar to the LL Serial Killings. I like how the theme of the story was explained in the end and that it really connects with the title.

However, the protagonist’s missing part isn’t satisfied with a hot girlfriend: he’s also hanging out with members of the worst gang around, one that runs whores and kills people. He’s prodded into showing his inborn skills as a torturer with a tied-up guy that the gang intended to kill.

Shota Ito's artistic work is truly remarkable, with meticulous and detailed drawings that captivate the eye. To his surprise, when Eiji wakes up, a gorgeous girl from his university, Kyouka Yukimura, is lying beside him—claiming to be his girlfriend. His audience, a bunch of hardened criminals who idolize a serial killer, just go along with his excuse, and even end up freeing that man.I usually dont usually enjoy murder mysteries or psychological manga but this one is something that you all should read!
