I was surprised at how this album sounds on vinyl, so long as your copy isn’t warped or mispressed, a great auditory experience. The "hybrid" in question is the overly familiar one of rap and metal, to which the group has little new to add.

I bought this album after Minutes to midnight and I wasn't sure about the band at that point because I loved Meteora but after hearing this album I fell in love with the band all over again.
