Pairing mode is shown by an alternating red and blue LED, as well as a message through the speakers. Fitting one to my AGV-K3 was fairly straight forward using the supplied screw-together clamp that grips the helmet shell. Several times it has sort of 'snapped' out after a lot of effort and I've drawn blood many times - the mount has some sharp-ish edges. Try turning your telly up then playing music on your headset, move speaker's on helmet until your telly is least audible.

After a short highway ride we were on some back roads when I noticed how quiet the intercom was, there we zero wind noise, and non of us could hear the bikes engines or any other ambient noise. Where I had to McGyver things was where the wires come out of the helmet to the unit, my cheek padding needed a cutout to pas the wires. In the city we've seen it fade out fast just going around the block with houses in the way, but on the open road ~1 km or so apart is usually no issue.At dinner, we were talking and all concluded that this intercom does what we needed it to do, was surprisingly quiet all day, and has plenty of range.

Simply slide the clip between the shell and EPS cushion, or if desired, the 3M Scotch double-sided adhesive may be used to affix the bracket directly to the surface of the helmet.The headset's speakers are clear and loud, but the outdated technology does not allow for simultaneous use with GPS or music while in intercom mode. Headset volume also goes very high - painfully high if not using earplugs, but this is needed if I'm using the silicone wax earplugs that block a lot of sound.
