Matte black and crafted from aluminium, the Decent One Max’s otherwise chunky but plain look is cleverly accented by a bright white logo on its steering column and model name on the footboard. The One Max features a triple-braking system with a electronic brake on the front hub motor, a mechanical disc brake on the rear wheel plus a friction-brake rear mudguard for emergencies. Electric scooters must not be used on public highways, pavements, cycle lanes or bridleways, but only on private property with the owners consent. As mentioned, the Decent One's 36V Li-ion battery is located in the handlebar stem (like the original Ninebot models), whereas the majority of scooters now house their battery in the base (including the Ducati Scrambler, which also has a replaceable battery).

The soft compound used on the tyre also gives the Decent One E-Scooter better traction for better handling around corners and uneven surfaces.
