We’re also pleased to share that a co-parent pad has been developed to achieve fill inclusivity and offers a bespoke resource for the LGBTQIA+ community which we’re really excited about as well. We are delighted to be able to launch this resource for dads and dads-to-be across the Lancashire and South Cumbria area. We expect that it will enable new dads to play an active role in helping improve the health and wellbeing outcomes families in the city.

The DadPad app is a useful resource before baby arrives and after baby is born, and is designed to be used as a quick, on-the-go reference tool, allowing new dads to enjoy their babies and feel more confident about fatherhood. Crucially, the app also provides dads with guidance on how to support and seek help (when needed) for their partners and themselves as they adjust to their new roles, and cope with the physical and emotional strains that this can place on individuals and relationships. Building a strong attachment will not only enable dads to better enjoy their new role but also contribute towards positive long-term social, health and educational outcomes for their babies.Crucially, the app provides dads with guidance on how to support and seek help (when needed) for their partners and themselves as they adjust to their new roles.
