About this deal

Set it to minimum for just a single repetition of the input signal, or turn it past 2 o’clock for a self-oscillating wall of sound. Inside the pedal is a Line Level/Instrument Level switch—which allows the pedal to be used either in front of the amp or in the FX loop—and a Dry Kill switch for a "wet only" effect that's perfect for studio recording. With the "mod" button engaged the soundshape dives into a marvelous chorus/vibrato like mood, which I have on nearly everytime. It’s a simple addition but it makes a big difference, especially when you’re playing at louder volumes. The oscillation you can get with this delay is amazing, similar to Radiohead's "Karma Police" effect near the end of the song.

Additional features include an expression jack for external control of various functions, programmable presets, and more. The dark tone combined with the lower volume makes the Carbon Copy unsuitable for playing staccato licks. This pedal has become the go-to standard for any player who wants a well-rounded, easy-to-use delay that sounds incredible.

This pedal can be powered by a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies (not included).

Rate control and width can both be adjusted via the two internal trim pots, giving you even more tonal options so that you can have greater control over the sound that is produced. Note that CITES only applies to guitars containing Rosewood or Bubinga that are being exported outside the European Union. And, the best thing is that all it takes is a simple twist of a knob to unlock all of these amazing features. It gives me the charming pleasure of warm, wobbling, floating delay sounds with decreasing volume to the end of the delay time. This review will be about the MXR Carbon Copy and will represent my experience and subjective opinion about this wonderful delay pedal. Flip the Regen and Mix to max, and fiddle with the delay knob a bit, and you've walked clean into noise-laden basement show bliss. The Carbon Copy Mini offers a switch between the standard and bright settings, while the Carbon Copy Deluxe (my personal favourite) takes it one step further by adding a tap tempo switch and various other features to the mix.Andertons Music Company acts as a credit broker and not a lender and only offers credit products from Secure Trust Bank PLC trading as V12 Retail Finance. Similar to the Vapor Trail by Seymour Duncan ( check out our review), you can control the depth and speed of the modulation, although you do need to remove the back plate to access the controls.

The Carbon Copy Analog Delay will take you from crisp bathroom slap echoes to epic, voluminous soundscapes with minimal adjustment required. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. To add further character and texture to your repeats, just hit the Mod switch and use the Speed and Width controls to shape the chorusing to your taste. From sound, to handling, to quality and to feeling it is one thing: A pedal with an unique character. The MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay features a completely analog audio path for the ultimate in rich, warm delay - made possible only by old-school bucket brigade technology. After this period we will honour the manufacturer's warranty period for repairs and items will be repaired or replaced as deemed appropriate. The Carbon Copy Bright, while not as atmospheric, produces a much brighter delay sound, more true to the input signal. We're celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Carbon Copy Analog Delay with this special edition featuring a lightweight aluminum housing with a metallic silver finish.
