Our range of mints contains some that have additional teeth whitening properties, as well as mints with added vitamins and minerals to help boost your immunity. For instance, if a patient is progressing to a new pair of alignment trays and one does not set over the teeth correctly, the Movemint or "munchie" is chewed in that area of their mouth to help seat the aligner in that space. After that, patients can choose to use them as often as needed, such as each time the aligners are re-inserted, like after meals or brushing and flossing. Unlike reusable chewies, Movemints doubles as a sugar-free mint that contains a therapeutic dose of xylitol in each one, serving as a breath mint that helps combat tooth decay and fight dry mouth. Movemints provide a safe and great tasting alternative to traditional chewy foam or plastic aligner seating products. We also sell retainer cleaner products like Retainer Brite, Sonic Brite, DentaSoak, OAP Cleaner, and Cleanse Freshen Go retainer cleaning wipes and spray.Movemints allow patients to do chewing exercises, get rid of dry mouth, freshen their breath, and lessen pain, ALL WHILE WEARING THEIR ALIGNERS! According to the California Dental Association* and other clincial studies, Xylitol inhibits the growth of the bacteria that cause cavities. These do what they’re intended do; to help ensure you have a good fit on your aligners after putting them back in. At nearly 60p per individual mint, I was expecting a good quality product that would be a suitable alternative to the silicone chewies - but it turns out they are just an oddly shaped regular breath mint.

In addition to helping seat orthodontic aligners, these soft, chewable appliances help stimulate blood flow, which inherently assists tooth movement.
