Description

It is based on Super Scraper, a Chevrolet pick-up with a snow plow which was first released in 1980. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. This was the only Tattoo Machine to have a variation; it could be found with the plastic body in either white or yellow, with the yellow version being less common. HotWheels Treasure Hunt Super Logo Vinyl Decal Sticker COLOR OPTIONS: Decals are die cut in one solid color only with no background. This odd machine is covered in a series of razor-sharp, drooling fangs… not something I have ever seen inked on anyone’s arms.

It’s based on a 1978 Ford custom van known as Baja Breaker, and is finished in yellow shading to brown. Also on the card back was a picture of eight models from the range, although these were obviously pre-production mock-ups with some being significantly different from the finished products. If you’d like to file an allegation of infringement, you’ll need to follow the process described in our Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy.

In the USA the models were packaged on long cards with a small Hot Wheels logo and a large Tattoo Machines one. Some of the models had fairly typical tattoo styles, while others were covered in weird, random designs.

Skull Rider was a Mazda MX-5, Road Pirate was a Camaro Z-28, Bus Boys was the Ford School Bus and Dragon Wagon was GT Racer. The Tattoo Machines line was an attempt by Mattel to cash in on the temporary tattoos craze that was sweeping the world in the early 1990s. The printed designs on Ammo were meant to give the impression of additional armaments, and included extra machine guns, ammunition belts, and gun fire, as well as several bullet holes. The orange, purple and blue graffiti is a series of 1990s ‘in’ words and phrases, with comments like ‘chill out’, ‘cowabunga’, ‘bogus’ and ‘awesome’.

Finished in fluorescent lime with recycling logos on the sides, it has a bare metal base, silver-grey interior, roll bar and blade, plus off-road wheels. This car is based on Monster Vette, a 1976 Corvette fitted with huge monster truck wheels which first appeared in 1987. Had a great chance to work with great Californian graphic design studio "Lincoln Design" woking on set of vector cars for "Hot Wheels" thanks to Dan Janssen for this great opportunity be part of cool project.
