I knew before going in that this run spawned the publishing offspring Vertigo into being and man, what a start. The debate about the new colouration aside (come on, you don't expect that at some point DC won't try and re-release this with the original colours and try and charge us all again, but enough about that pond-scum of a company.I would be remiss to mention that psychedelics also would have played a massive part in writing this based on the immaculate visuals and experiences Swamp Thing has. At long last, DC Comics is proud to present the original early appearances of Swamp Thing in prestigious Absolute format.

Nunca me había llamado la atención este personaje, ni siquiera tras escuchar que Alan Moore lo había trabajado; me causaba bastante indiferencia. Y tiene todas las propiedades que Moore nos enseña, aunque sus capacidades difícilmente podrían asumir la conciencia de una persona. That makes the first issue very jarring, just chatting about all these characters I know nothing about!Something I would'nt recommend to a friend because my guess is they would judge it to be confusing and silly. He is also the mastermind behind the America's Best Comics line, through which he has created (along with many talented illustrators) The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Promethea, Tom Strong, Tomorrow Stories and Top Ten.

When Alan Moore took this book over from Len Wein, he had a completely different vision of what Swamp Thing was. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.But at the same time I don’t really like stories about heaven and hell and I surely don’t care about it being the focal point or the stakes of the story. There are few artists who could bring Moore's sublime vision to life, but Bissett and Totleben are more than up to the challenge, to the point where, should they no longer appear on the book, I may have to invent a time machine, go back 40 years to this books creation and get a riot going. There is not much I can say more about this edition and only I can say - it's highly recommended read!
