About this deal

Until you try it out with your new baby, you can never tell if they like to be swaddled or not so it means you have the option for both - or can swap from one to the other in a few seconds to meet baby's needs.

O was a winter baby and I probably worried less about him being cold than I did about G being too hot. Our first son loved to be swaddled from birth, and was one of the key triggers for him sleeping soundly each nap and bedtime. I loved these gro bags for Seb, they are safe and you know that they can’t throw them off in the middle of the night and wake up because they are cold. The Gro Snug helped to lessen this worry as on warmer nights a short sleeved bodysuit can be worn underneath and you can layer up with sleep suits for when it is cooler. I struggled at first to get baby in the Grosnug but once you use it a few nights you get quicker and it then seems very easy to put on the baby. The latter wasn’t a major problem, as I just needed to cover her with a muslin before I started feeding! New with tags: A brand-new, unused, unworn and undamaged item in the original packaging (such as the . I also love how my baby's arms can be tucked in or out and the zip all the way down makes midnight nappy changes super quick and easy.

I am hesitating between the two as expecting a baby in January but our bedroom is not very cold (around 20-22 celsius). One of the reasons I love a sleeping bag is that I think it’s a really good signal to baby from an early age that it is bedtime. This is what makes the Gro Snug such a great bag because instead of having to put it in the cupboards along with the other things that baby doesn’t like I could just undo the poppers and make it into a sleeping bag with G’s arms free. With all the excitement of a newborn entering your world, the second time around I felt like I was armed with more information about the kinds of products I wanted to use with my newborn and ones that I felt truly made a difference with my first son and those early months. The revolutionary 2-in-1 Swaddle and Newborn Grobag is the only bedding you will need for your newborn. The zip opens all the way up at the bottom, allowing me to change Neve’s nappy without having to completely remove the swaddle. You could slow it down by doing one at a time but we thought that our LG would just fidget even more. During a partnership spanning over 15 years, the Gro Company have made a significant contribution to the vital work done by The Lullaby Trust, making a positive difference to the lives of thousands of families across the UK. This is one product that I have no hesitation in recommending time and time again now, as it worked for me and my child and gave me the peace of mind every Mama needs with a newborn. Extremely easy to use with no folding needed and a long zip that opens from the bottom for nappy changes.

Overall I was really impressed with the Grosnug, particularly in those first few weeks at home with our newborn. It’s a great quality product and the different fabrics available make it ideal for any time of year use (or unpredictable weather! All came with the 0-6 month label but with small detail that the baby needed to be 12 lbs minimum (which really no newborns come close to for a good month or so). Grobags can be used from a certain weight so there is an overlap of use baby weight-wise, apart from this there isn’t anything else I would change. I'm happy to use cellular blankets until then but not sure if swaddling at night is a faff when having to change?

The Gro Snug is the first stage to providing your baby with a safer, comfortable, and content night’s sleep. When you are preparing for a baby it is easy to be dazzled by the latest must-have item, only to find you use it once and it ends up in the back of the cupboard. Disclosure: I was sent this Gro Snug for the purpose of this review but all thoughts and opinions are my own. We know all babies are different and G is very different from his big brother, and it turns out he isn’t a huge fan of being swaddled.Disclosure – I was sent a products for the purpose of this Grosnug review, however all thoughts and opinions are my own. The only way we could get her to sleep was to swaddle her, something my husband wasn’t great at, and we were unsure about due to the heatwave when she was born. At the time I used a cellular blanket to wrap him in but I was always slightly nervous of using blankets as I was worried that they might fall over his face.
