About this deal
If you’re looking to stop your door from hitting the wall, you only need to make sure it stops just off the wall. Titus hinge angle restrictors limit the opening angle of cabinet doors and prevent damage to door or any adjacent object. Check out our video showing exactly how we used cabinet door restraints to keep our cabinet doors from hitting each other!
When mounted, the restrictors prevent cabinet doors from opening completely, and thus reliably prevent damage on nearby cabinets, walls, windows, appliances, and other adjacent objects. My front door opens outwards and I hate it, it blows in the wind and just about knocks people off their feet when I open it as they stand too close as they’re expecting it to open inwards. However, hinge restrictor clips are completely invisible once installed and just look like part of the hinge, so if that is important to you, these may be a good option. However, there are a few things about it that have me scratching my head, wondering “what were they thinking?
If that's right, how is it meant to fix onto something that is in one plane and something which is in a perpendicular plane? Our angle restrictors are designed to both allow insertion before mounting the cabinet doors, as well as retrofit mounting, ensuring flexibility of use and consistent hinge performance. If you’ve installed cabinet restraint wires, you can change the angle by changing where the restraint is attached to the door or the cabinet. Whether you want it to open a little wider or less wide because of the layout of your kitchen, you can make that specific adjustment.
