When filled with water and solution, lifting this machine around the house can be quite challenging. The carpet cleaning head doesn't quite fit into the corner turns on the stairs and I find the heads are quite difficult to fit on and off the pole as they just push on and off. Tbh Neil mine got thrown in the bin as the pump was knackered in no time, the wand and hand tool were badly design even with the lower power the tooling was crap and the water just trickled out, my puzzi was better (just) I use a sensei instead. I won’t be using the handle to lift (grab machine at base) as the two hinges that hold the top down / handle look a bit flimsy. The liquid sprays at a rate of 4 bar out of the nose, compared to the miserable 1 bar of the karcher puzzi.
Hi Richard i bought a Pro Valet Last Year great bit of kit for the money very lite easy to use and great for spotting i also used it to rinse and vac on tiled floor with the wand even if you bought till you can afford an upgrade go for it there great little spotters.Having said that a lot of the much more expensive spotting machines are only 55psi as well so its on a par with all of them if you get your hand tools and hose to fit it and i actually find it easier to use than the cfr spotter i had to move around and fill/empty. Even though deleted reviews don't affect the average rating, the fact that action was taken to delete reviews raises some red flags about the integrity of the reviews for the product as whole. Its ok as a spotter - it sucks well but the psi of the pump lets it down a little, i think its just 55psi. Every part feels quality and my only complaint would be trying to get them apart after use, but i reckon a bit of vaseline on the joints before hand would work wonders. The Narrow upholstery tool is great for utilizing in tight spaces such as sofas and car seats, while the wide carpet tool is great for cleaning larger areas such as carpets.

The kiam really is a great machine and I wasnt put off by the negative reviews regarding the pump failures as this is common across all brands. Based on our statistical modeling, the discrepancy in average rating between these two groups is significant enough to believe that the difference is not due to random chance, and may indicate that there are unnatural reviews.
I pre spray my chemicals with a separate hand pump sprayer, then use clean water to pump onto the seats and extract, this dilutes the product making it easier to extract.
