About this deal

Whether you want to save a couple of bucks by performing a mod or upgrade yourself instead of paying a tech, or want to build your own piece of gear from scratch, I'm sure you will find something interesting here.

Authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. The MXR M109 6 Band Graphic EQ lets you completely reshape your sound or boost a wicked alternate lead tone that will jump out of the mix at will. I use it kind of like a boost pedal to add the extra punch I need for solos, without messing with the mix by adding a ton of gain. I’m happy with my pickups, so the only thing I’m using it is to shape the sound after one of my hi-gain preamps.

Apart from an amplifier, nothing gives guitar players a greater degree of control over tonality than an equalizer. Equipboard may receive compensation for purchases made at participating retailers linked on this site. I have it set in a way where it doesn't change the sonic space I occupy with my band, doesn't really change my tone that much, but just gives a little extra in the mids/highs, gets rid of any flobby low end and gives me an extra gear to come forward in the mix a bit.For someone who plays more than I do it would last shorter but still it’s not a current thirsty pedal. For info, there was no early ‘script’ version of the 6BGE – all have the 2 nd generation ‘block’ logo. The only scenario I can imagine that could ruin this thing is if someone steps directly on the sliders, which is not an easy thing to do. I've been a disciple of the TS sound forever, usually I just leave it on, but have always had issues pairing a lead tone with the TS.
