It doesn't really fit my hyperx cloud alphas, the piece of fabric used to mount it onto the earcup is way too long, so it's quite a weird fit for the Cloud Alphas, if you compare it to the original earpads, the WC ones are waaaay longer. Maybe I just had a higher expectation and I also think one bigger issue is that the Arctis height cannot be adjusted (they just have a strap that gets lower or higher depending on how much you stretch the whole thing to fit your head), but these covers, although they improved the comfort, still didn't "change my life" and I'm wondering whether I should have opted for the velour ones (differences should be more clear as I would have grabbed these over the ones I've got). These pads are thicker and actually pushed the speaker off my ear a little, and I found that it makes a better seal with my ear so I get less external noises coming through. Probably not the cushion's fault but if you have a headset that has a lot of pressure pressing on your ears these might not be the best choice. I can tell they are more open/more closed but I just wanted to know if that is the only difference(and of course the feel/comfort difference) and if there isnt a difference in the sound produced in the 2 earcups, but I guess since they are just earcups after all there cant be as its the drivers where the sound comes from.
