About this deal

Back to the book, it is an extremely well written account of Mark's investigations and cases, and absolutely does not come across as a pat on the back for him, but rather you can see how much he cares about the victims and their families as it is truly conveyed in his words. One convicted killer he doesn’t mention in this book and who he wholeheartedly supports and considers innocent is Jeremy Bamber, (who has recently received a great deal of attention and televised coverage). To be honest, yes, I am a huge true crime fan and have been since I was young, but I can honestly say that rather than wanting to read about the grisly circumstances of the evil among us, as I have got older, it is truly to hear about the victims and their families, and also very much to champion how a crime is solved.

Britain’s top crime investigator and criminologist Mark Williams-Thomas is a multi award-winning TV investigative reporter and former police detective, who will share his vast experience of investigating some of the most notorious cases and killers.Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. In this audiobook his voice is very clear, very smooth and indeed very engaging with an obvious down-to-earthness, in no way purposely polished --- and with perfect pacing and timing this audiobook is such a joy to listen to. I am perhaps biased in my opinion of Mark but genuinely, if this book had left me indifferent, I would have been honest in this review. Mark is a multi award winning investigative reporter and has amongst his awards, two Royal Television Society, a Broadcasting Press Guild and an International Peabody.

You really want to follow this investigator because he is very convincing and then out of the blue, he becomes his own antithesis. As the UK's top forensic pathologist, Dr Richard Shepherd has spent a lifetime uncovering the secrets of the dead. A very monotone voice can spoil the listening experience and indeed the wrong voice however brilliant the books contents, however thrilling and fascinating, the wrong voice can destroy an audiobook and for me personally, the narrator's voice can be a real deal breaker. There is nothing more frustrating and incredibly irritating and distracting than a very dull monotone voice which so easily can destroy the content of even the most brilliant book.

Mark is going to share his vast experience of investigating some of the most notorious cases and killers - in what promises to be a truly eye-opening and entertaining talk. Discover the truth behind the many, many times Dawn French has been a complete twat over the last sixty years.A shocking thriller about a cold case, a fictional true crime series, and the family caught in the middle.
