I did cautiously dab the tissue on the top of my hand (just in case I needed to scrub it off) and oh my goodness, the beauty is still there, it just needs the warmth of skin to bloom. For me it’s hard to pick out individual notes because it’s well blended between the fruit and the chypre. I can imagine - sexy elegant woman, italian cobbled streets, few glasses of wine deep ,cosy dimmed dinner date.

This is, in my opinion, quite an uncomplicated scent, for me it's not a heavy perfume and it's also ABSOLUTELY not a fall/winter kind of fragrance. It absolutely cannot be worn in warmer climates as it can become exceedingly smothering and overpowering.I was hoping the night blooming jasmine and tuberose would be a little more prominent, but they are not. It lasts 6hours on my skin and it is the kind of fragrance that disappears and reappears here and there. Starts out very akin to Dior Joy Intense and totally transforms into its darker sister on the dry down.

As the perfumer said, this 'is a jewel of black musk with a hypnotic power' only suitable for determined women with character, willing to become the center of attention of all eyes. I do like complex scents such as Angel, Shalimar, but Golden The Roman Night is a cacophony of notes, each competing with one another, not a symphony. I think this is best for cooler spring, fall and maybe winter (unlike the "regular" Goldea - Roman Nights, which I like for warmer times. It isn't too much of a night time scent, despite the dark bottle, smells easy-going enough to wear it at daytime. I expected stronger, it is a nce scent, and it has that typical Morillas signature, kind of safe, kind of pretty of course.Then I stumbled upon Rose Goldea and it was an instant hit, a beautiful, fresh, and delicate rose fragrance. Here is a tip to the genuine fragrance lovers, when reading other frag reviews look for colorful balloon symbols beside reviewers' images this will tell you it's a genuine review, the more ballons you see it's better.

The funny association - sometimes it feels, like RT with a warm bowl of porridge, steaming on the background, with plums and vanilla sugar in it. It's faded quite a bit within an hour, and I have to get my nose right up on my arm to smell what's left of the fragrance. This is not strong, but rather sits close to the skin, so it works for the office and casual evenings.

With the drydown a mix of jasmine and patchouli comes in and it all turns into something deep, sexy and dark. The rose is an understated friend, letting the jasmine really shine, the combination of which sets the tone for the base notes, which is when this frag really comes into its own. Then its heart is composed of a floral bouquet of rose, tuberose, peony and jasmine lady at night, a trio of aces of high perfumery that denotes sophistication, femininity and luxury. Heavy orientals aren't their forte, so I'm not surprised that Goldea The Roman Night is on the lighter side of things. It works really nice in this cold weather so not sure about warmer seasons other than night's maybe.I think this is a fruity floral with vanilla backed up by musk and patchouli and it’s seductive and really nice! Now yes, the opening was a gorgeous plum and jasmine, though unfortunately after 2 minutes that all disappeared and I am left with an earthy and musky moss and patchouli.
